Yesterday afternoon my ‘Cuda Max .22, 30 meters: 5 JTS DC 18.1 gr. & 5 H&N Baracuda 18 gr. for 10 shots… the Baracudas are the 5 dead center.

I bought a sleeve of the Baracuda 18s when they first came out and nothing I had would shoot them. I was hoping my Octane Elite would like them, it didn’t. It shoots the JSB 15.89s. I held onto those Baracuda 18s just for the Baracuda Max and they do, indeed, shoot better than the JTS Dead Center 18.1 gr.

I haven't shot my HW50S .22 in months so yesterday I carried it out just to plink. Shooting at 25, 30, & 40 yards.

I was so pleased. Each and every shot fired hit exactly where I aimed. 1st and 2nd shots at 25 yards, a soda can hanging from an oak tree limb, hole in hole. Wow!  For the longer shots I used the range card with holdovers that I keep attached to scope cover.
I was amazed that after months sitting idle it shot the same as the last time I shot it.

Today, maybe my Diana 34 Classic.

Thanks, I have six favorite springer rifles that I usually rotate through. R7 -.177; D34-.177; HW50S-.22, RWS D460-.22; R9-.177; and HW97K-.177.

 Replaced the scope with the peep sight,
and installed the barrel weight/hooded front sight on the Daisy 853C and sighted it back in today.

Dug out the XS60C and the 2240.  The 2240 is leaking pretty audibly so it goes back to the bench.

The XS60C is just as sweet shooting as ever. I let the dogs romp around the pasture while I plinked pinecones at 40 yards

A happy ending.  My scope busting jumper painted stripes with the Baracuda 18s but struggled with elevation as the 18gr was too heavy......

Shot a 1322 a little more today...have to say that I am not as impressed with this carbine as most people seem to be. I may return it, I love the concept but it is woefully inconsistent accuracy wise.

I shot the R9 after applying the Tune in a Tube grease Air Venturi sent me and it initially caused the rifle to lose 10 fps using Benjamin 14.3 gr pellets, it recovered its velocity after several shots but the velocities never exceeded what they were before I applied the grease, it did slick up the action though, smooth as butter. I was going to send the rifle back for service, but I have a Vortek HO kit on the way and I'm just going to say to heck with the warranty.

It is being returned tomorrow and I do not want a replacement, I want my money back as I don't think another one will be any better. All I can say is that for all of these folks that love theirs, they must satisfied with mediocracy.

I don't know what pellets you're using but you might try experimenting with some different projectiles.

I shot my Hatsan mod 95 for a while today but its barrel locking wedge spring is getting weak (Surprise!  It's a Hatsan!).  While the groups were tight for azimuth they were stringing vertically.  Gots to order stuff from Hatsan anyhow so I'll put it on the list.

I shot spinners at thirty yards with the ProwlFire hybrid and some 7.9gr CPHP.  It is very accurate with 8.4gr H&N FTT but if I really concentrate I can make it perform adequately at thirty yards with CPHP.

Yesterday, but a .177-caliber Hatsan Mod. 25 Supercharger. For all its rough edges, it's extremely accurate, has a fantastic trigger and will shoot light (7.0-7.2-grain) pellets at around 700 FPS.

Thanks for the suggestion...but, the issue doesn't seem to be the pellets...I did not get the chrono out but I suspect that there is variance in pressure on some shots. At any rate, I am not impressed with the gun and I have put as much time and effort into it as I am going to...love the concept of this gun but the gun itself leaves something to be desired even if it shot more consistently. A $55 Crosman Legacy 1000 will shoot circles around this thing, comes scope ready and costs half the price...nuff said.
