Drove around the farm and shot at targets of opportunity with my Nemesis X

Plinked at a soda can with the P3, mostly standing offhand about 33’ with can in pellet trap. Some shots also at can on top of trap or on the ground from a kneeling position.

Wind has really curtailed shooting opportunities, so a little plinking before sunset scratches that itch. I also like the light conditions better, but it only lasts a short time.

Why buy a new a/g when you can just throw one together with spare parts? I think he made a 3617 too, since Crosman did not offer it. These guys are incredible, I am just trying to figure out how to clean the barrel, 😂

I've been shooting the newly rebuilt / replaced Daisy 853.

I swapped out the action that broke to the one CMP sent me.
I did an O-ring/valve rebuild.
 I also swapped the trigger parts to the modded trigger parts that I had on the old one.

The trigger pulls at about 1.25 pounds and chronographs between 470 to 477 FPS.

So far I'm a happy camper.

I just hope it remains the one hole, tack driving accurate shooter the old barrel was.
Right now I just have it rough zeroed in. I'll fine tune it tomorrow perhaps.

Dug out "Dead-eye Lou's" XS-12 that was breathed on by Mike M. and a tin of Creedmoor match wadcutters just for "plinking" on a Sunday evening.

Diana 460 .22 breaking in. The more I shoot it, the more I like it.

K98 (D460) .177. Seems to be gaining power. Was 9ish I thought but is at 10. Might be memory, which is a funny thing. Loves the rocker1, which also looks great on it.

Diana EMS .177. Seems to be losing power. Shooting 9ish but I thought it was 10ish. The internals are loud so the rocker1 didn't change much but the poi slightly.

The rocker1 k98 combo is near silent at 10 fpe. I like feeling everything going on inside, which makes thing more challenging maybe but also more fun (and clear) to learn.

Umarex Trevox. Not sure why, but it took longer than I think it should have to get it sighted in.

Even the long and heavy trigger shouldn't have been that much of a roadblock...

I must be getting old.

Mine was the same way, Whirly.
It wasn't so bad sighting in a reflex sight though, but the iron sights seemed to be like a PITA.

Two “Blue Streaks” today:  the one in the photo    , and the one I swore when the wind suddenly reared up yet again.   

Only got in 20 shots before the gusts and spits of rain made me call it a day. Ten shots at paper, front rested on sandbag (adjusted the windage a tiny bit), done at 33’ Then seven at a minican from 45’ sitting on driveway with my bent left knee for elbow support, and three standing offhand at a dead tree about 65’ away.

The wind normally dies down after sunset, but tonight it is tearing around with much ado and roaring.
