I sighted in the scope I got this spring from optics planet a viridian tactical 3x12x42 on my 30 cal std challenger at 50 yards. Trying to figure out a fill pressure for one good mag accuracy wise. I was starting as close as I could get it to 3450 because the last time I chronied it the third or fourth shot was in the 915-925 fps range and that was a full 3600-50 ish fill. My final test was four half filled water bottles and five shots at a Caldwell sight in target from Walmart. Smoked every water bottle and two bullseyes almost same hole and three to the left one slightly higher one about level with the bull and one just a little low. I'm pretty happy with how it did. I decided the vinyl can wait for this winter when it's too cold to shoot. I want to shoot it some this fall before I mess with it again.
I'm starting to get envious of you guys with carnival-like shooting galleries in your backyard. All I have is one frying pan nailed to a tree and a couple empty cans on the ground.
My KWC Berreta M92! First time shooting it since I got it, took it with my mom to the backyard against a cardboard box and a big water bottle. This is her first time watching (and firing!) a fully automatic in person, and she enjoyed it a lot We even recorded firing it in slow motion and she kept saying it was just like in movies. This'll be an amazing memory to have :')
Last month we went to the Knife and Gun Show in Andalusia, Al. They rarely, if ever, have anything airgun related but we enjoy walking around and looking. I can think of things less enjoyable that cost more than the $7 admission. But every now and then an airgun sneaks in. This time is was a Crosman Powermaster 664sb. It included a 5 shot clip (and I knew I had 2 more clips at home). Not a scratch or mark could be found on the gun. The guy said he bought it for his son but his son was more interested in his PB at an early age. So it sat in the back of the closet for several years. There was a $20 tag on it.With the owner's permission, I checked it for bbs and pumped it 3 times. I pointed at my shoe and pulled the trigger.SNAP.... it worked. The owner said if I wanted it I could have it for $15. He said he was tired of the other vendors making fun of him for the plastic bb gun on his table.I brought it home, shot a clip through it and stuck it in the back of the gun safe. I honestly forgot about it.Today I was looking for something in the gun safe with flashlight because it's kinda dark in there. I saw the light reflect off the silver barrel and pulled it out.I'd be surprised it this thing weighed 2 pounds. It truly feels like a toy. Puts me in mind of the Bug a Salt.I put a 4x24 scope on it with a set of silver rings that had been laying in a drawer like forever. Looks like they grew on the gun. After I got it sighted in with Crosman Ultra Mag pellets at 20yds (minute of golf ball) I walked around for an hour or more shooting at targets of opportunity. Leaves, rocks, pinecones... nothing was safe. I was shooting stuff floating in a large puddle of water in the front of the house and everytime it made a big splash it would make me smile.I may have found the fountain of youth.

They don't have to cost hundreds to make a fellow smile!
