HW98 .177. It was one of THOSE days where I couldn't hit a thing.
One more tree rat, shoulder hit at 25 yards and one more chipmunk, also shoulder hit at ~20 yards.Disappointed they were not head shots, but they were good kills.

Also, for nailing those wee pesky troublemakers. I hope my house and yard survive while I'm away, helping a daughter with grands. It's sweet to these little ones grow!!
I guess the official story ought to be, that I had give the shooting zone a break since now pests were venturing therein any more....
Put a cheap Gamo dot sight on my cut down Daisy 880 and sighted it in.

Yesterday evening was a short session with the HW97K. Today I spied some starlings looking at trying to get into the chicken tractor to possibly make a nest? It was in a vent hole. I sighted in on one and watched. I could have pulled the trigger but I just watched. They moved on. I had to take the shot since I already had a pellet chambered and the gun was cocked (Streamline). Someone had found a target in the grass and had set it on the garden fence. I ranged it in my head and let the pellet fly. Dead on at 35 yards. One shot, one kill.
Just messin around last night I shot my vintage PB gun (GASP)... 1950's, CVI .22 subsonic at 25 yards. These are 10 shots each out of an old Mossberg 151M(b) I restored... Shooting Springers has taught me a lot. Thank you GTA!!!At the moment the 2060 build is out in the sun warming up for a session when the wind dies down later tonight...
