So.....what did you shoot today?

R7 and HW50 .177.

I took out the 22 cal. Benjamin Trail NP XL 1100 this morning and did a little shooting with it.  I had not shot it since last January during hunting season.   I set a target box out in the woods.  I paced off the distance at approximately 50 to 55 yards.  The foliage was so thick that I could barely see the box and could not put it out further.  I was shooting 22 cal. 14.3gr. Crosman Piranha's. These are the lightest weight pellets that I ever shoot in this gun.     I had to place the target box on a vine, up & off the forest floor, in-order to see it. I secured the box with twine so that it would not fall on impact.  I then took some closer in shots, at a spinner, to check out the scope and re-familiarize myself with this rifle. The spinner had been set out to around 25 to 30 yards.  I then shot this longer range group at the box. It measured about 1 inch with three shots taken.  I was satisfied and put this rifle away.  I took the shots while standing with the rifle braced on a walk-thru door way going out the back of my garage. The point of aim was dead center at the bullseye. My shots were a little to the left and a little high.

Fixed the scope ring on the 10/22 and shot another 150 rnds through it. Still testing the food out for it, so far it is happy with JSBs. Finger still hanging in there.

That's a dedicated practice session. Does the mag hold 10? Still, somewhere around fifteen loads. How many cartridges--2 or 3?

Magazine is 10 shots and takes 2 co2 carts to run it. You can use one cart in it.

That is pretty good shooting there Tom! I cant get my Titan NP (similar gun) to group worth a darn it is so hold sensative!

I have found with my trail np2 that if I have a firm grip on it and just let the foregrip lay on a sturdy surface left hand on right shoulder really just to something with my hand... It shoots well enough for 10y with about everything I feed it. So it is a 10y gun and not much past that now that I have a crony I can mess with it some more to see what its really doing with the pellets.

I had ordered a single shot tray for my RS78 (QB78 converted to air and repeater) and it came in today.  I pumped up the gun and tried the single shot out.  Works as it should.  Now I can conserve pellets and air shooting single shot or, that the very least, it should take longer to shoot the same amount.  Either way, I find that I do like shooting single shot, most of the time, over multi shot magazines when plinking.

I don't know if this is within the rules, but it does use a spring and piston to fire a projectile.
I was out shopping today when I saw this and thought it looked good for some indoor fun on days when it's hot or I've run out of the little dinosaurs i like to shoot at indoors.

It actually seems good for practice with instinct shooting and shooting and quick fire...ect.

You've got a launch pad with a foot pedal to rev up and launch these " flying bugs ( a flying propeller with a plastic spider on it ) and a 10 shot blaster.
Honestly it's better than any target set Nerf / Hasbro has ever offered.

I did some shooting with the Benjamin 312, the American boy, the crosman 781, and the p-17 on Friday.

Ah I have been trying to shoot mine out to 30 some yards and it is really picky. Seems to do best for me with an artillery hold, almost no shoulder, and a smooth trigger squeeze. Makes it hard to stay on target though due to wobble. I have tried just laying it on a bag but it is very inconsistent. No idea where it will hit on the next shot

I dusted off the .22 Synrod today for some pesting. Between my .25 and Slayer,  it hasn't seen much action in quite awhile now.  With the JSAR LW air tube and MMHF barrel, along with being tuned to be very efficient,  It is a dream to shoot, and is very quiet.  It was a very productive day with it.
