I got a CF one from Rocker1 with the threaded adapter built on and it works with very little added weight

Is looks really nice too.

I have one of his shrouds with baffles on my RS78. It works well. I my have to consider one of his with the real carbon fiber tubes.

FedEx dropped of my ATI Freedom just after noon.

I think it was around shot 15 when I caught myself singing "The Star Spangled Banner".

66 degrees, I got CO2 fever BAD...
Took out the Crosman 160, VAR III. Built like a tank and performs well on marginal temps.
Tried a "new" pellet for the low ambient temps. JSB Expess 14.35g
Yep.. never fails.
Resettables at 20 and 25 yards then gongs at 35 with appropriate (minor) hold over.
GOD I LOVE THIS OLD GUN!!!

I knew you had a couple and wasn't sure which you were speaking of.
It is a nice gun. Glad you enjoy it. I just have so many that I need to schedule them for trigger time.

Most days I grab one of my guns and take at least a couple shots out the back door at a can or something, today I actually went out and had a decent shooting session with the 342.

I re-tuned my .22 cal. Gauntlet. I jacked up the regulator pressure to 1350 PSI last week and tuned the JSB 18.13 gr. pellets to about 860 FPS (3% below max FPS). They were all over the target at 27 yards.
Before I jacked up the regulator, they were very accurate. Went out with the chronograph yesterday and started adjusting the hammer spring (JSAR kit installed) to get the grouping back to a tight pattern. At 830 FPS the accuracy returned to where the 18.13 Gr pellets were grouping better than ever before.
Lesson learned, a small change in speed makes a lot of difference in the performance of the pellet.
The JSB 15.9 gr. and AA 16 gr. pellets are not as picky about changes as the 18.13 gr. pellets. They have been accurate with whatever the setting is.
Today I am going to work with the .25 Gauntlet (JSAR kit installed) . I have the regulator set at 2000 PSI.

Shot a bunch of plastic army men with the FX Crown in the man cave. I secured them in front of the mulch trap.To make it a little more challenging I start with headshots then pick off weapons and extremities to keep it somewhat challenging. Head shots only count if it is a clean decapitation with no body damage. Then shot some 10m rifle targets three shots to a target. Good news this FX is laser accurate but the .25 removes the entire red bullseye with the first shot.

Did I mention this beast likes JSB H&N and Air Arms pellets equally.

Did some pellet testing with the .177 Freedom until the wind kicked up and sent me to the shop to give the girl some legs.
I have a review thread going on the gun so I'm not going to double post here.
I will share a picture though...
