So.....what did you shoot today?

Shot my new Beeman P17 pistola... Jury is still out on it being a keeper; but, it's amazingly accurate (and tough to compress--side of my palm is still raw).


And, Killed a squirrel! Man, what a relief, I've missed nearly a dozen breaking in my new .177 Nitro Venom; so this was SWEET. One shot to the neck (facing me at 26 yds, up 10 yds in a tree, with the tree squarely behind).  Feels good to have one sit still long enough for me to remember all the dang things I have to do to get off a shot.

After the session with the Daisy 953, I pulled out the RS78 and Streamline.  Sean and I pummeled those steel targets at 25 yards.  They didn’t stand a chance with these precision tools 🛠 🧰

After mowing and checking RV tires, I took the 50S out back but couldn't get in the groove.  I had a beer then took the peep sighted 30S out on the patio.  I love that kleine fraulein!  She has been so fine-tuned and sighted that hitting the spinner spoons and 12 ga shotgun shells at 30 yards is almost a foregone conclusion.

Bored myself with ten mags out of the Urban than got the Sumatra out for ten from it and the boredom only got worse.
Bout 10 pm I put the wheelers in the barn and shut the lights off. I noticed glowing eyeballs. Just to ease the boredom I walked up on that opossum and whacked him in the head with a big stick. That big ole dude just looked at me and walked into the thick woods. Reckon next time I'll use a gun.

That Gorilla glue is pretty good stuff. It kind of swells or foams up to fill any gaps that might be in the joint.

But gosh dont get it on your hands! It is amazingly hard to get cleaned off, collects every bit of dust and or dirt within 5 miles of your location and turns your fingers black!

The word you are looking for is tenacious that stuff is worse than super glue

Here's a tip.... don't get super glue on those white cotton work gloves. They react and will burn your hand big time.

Put the booger hook on the urban for a few mags. All was going well then went south dunno why but I suspect the scope is moving on me. I found that 20 rounds then a top of is better than 40 then a top off. I know its gonna fill faster filling every 20 but it seemed to fill in 2/3 the time over a 40 shot span vs filling ever 40 shots.

I was shooting JSB 18g at 10y on the ammo can I mean bench rest.

Bagged up squirrel #2 with the prod. First time for me having a pest drop onto its back and put its legs straight in the air. More and more happier with the purchase, even happier the barrel is finaly settling in and is alot more accurate



Edit: i honestly wish/hope there is/was someone very close that would appreciate the meal. Id hand them all over... never tried squirrel and no one i know would ever touch it let alone let it be cooked on their utensils

No shooting this evening but, I ordered the Artemis pp700s-a pistol from Krale so that may show up as a “what did I shoot today” option soon.  I hope it’s as good as “they” say it is.

I am not a huge fan of air powered or Co2 pistols but with the PP700S-a i make an exception it is as accurate and fun to shoot and with a few inexpensive mods that overcome the little shortcomings. I just ordered the breech                    block /pellet tray for my .22 and in a couple weeks will order the tensioned barrel kit from JSAR and will also more than likely do the cf sleeve over the barrel just not sure about that last item yet. Good luck I think you will be pleasantly surprised

That’s great to hear Don!  Thanks for the encouragement.  Now I’m shopping for a LDC adapter and hush hush.  Looking at DonnyFL stuff.  I have the SUMO on my Streamline and it’s definitely quiet, which I like.
