Quote from: FuzzyGrub on July 08, 2021, 08:00:40 AMWas the crosman box for a 177 wood or 22 syn? So you can imagine my nervousness when I pulled the main box out of the shipping box and saw that info on the label...I was thinking like “they just used the wrong box...they just used the wrong box...” But then, as I knew deep down, it WAS a synthetic .22 upon opening the box.
Was the crosman box for a 177 wood or 22 syn?
I look at it as, even the ole girl needs a new dress once in a while.
The Mrod stock arrived today. I haven't had a chance to put it on the Mrod yet, but here's a couple pics. Definitely nicer than the old Beech stocks!

Definitely nicer than the old Beech stocks!Dang, I am so jealous! I do not know for the life of me, how I didn’t notice these stocks on PA or that you had said yours was on order from PA. Maybe I was unsure if it was the updated gen 2 with the cheek riser or not till I saw your post today. I also thought I read that you bought a parts rifle just for the stock or something earlier in the thread and not a new replacement stock by itself. Must’ve been a diff guy...Either way, I just preordered one cause they’re on back order but it’ll get here eventually. So thanks for the heads up! I’ll end up getting my wood stocked Mrod after all!-and for only $500 total ($400 + $100 stock) instead of $560 total ($460 + $100 stock) due to the money I got back from AoA pooping the bed on me.

At this stage in life, I don't even want another gun. These mrods are just fine for me anyway.Bob
That Jkhan thumbhole Noblesse does look fantastic, but it costs more than any MRod that includes a stock.Hunter
So, Crosman believed that the famous and almost obsolete Marauder only needs a better looking stock. It's like putting lipstick on a pig.Crosman should start spending money on designing and developing their own new airguns for the 2020s.They keep avoiding developing new and better airguns and at this time they hope that the Turks will save them.Crosman at this time has no in house offering that I would buy.
