The sling studs are a different style. Also just found that the trigger guard was loose, but the that screw is stripped. Easily fixable.

How do the studs differ? I can’t tell from the pic. And do you know how the gen 2 synthetic studs compare to the ones on the new walnut stock? Thanks.
At this stage in life, I don't even want another gun. These mrods are just fine for me anyway.Bob
Ok thanks. Will the standard “uncle mikes” style qd’s still work?

Its more of a platform than a specific rifle, and what a lovely platform.I agree. Actually it was a couple individuals here that persuaded me to go with it; despite having not starting with one, it is a really enjoyable rifle even though I am not a novice airgunner. It holds up, and truely is a fun straight shooter. For the price I am very happy.

Mine will allow me to slide a bill all the way from the leading end of the forearm to about 1¼” before the gauge.

I've never checked my Beech Stock or Synthetic stock to see if they touch the air cylinder or not. Quite frankly, I never even thought about it till you posted this! LOL! I guess I'm just thinking as long as the stock doesn't push the air cylinder enough to impact the barrel, all should be good. But, then again, I have no idea, so who knows...
I am thinking about buying a stock so I can do a poly linseed oil job from scratch and still be shooting in the meantime...$90 is so cheap
