can we start pre-ordering?

They want to avoid any misunderstandings or typical complaints "Where's my stuff", or, "When will it arrive at my door step" (that we see all to often from end users/customers ) who generally assume there is a warehouse full of inventory. When the guns arrive here, I have been assured that those who chose Option 2 of the recall letter will be the first to have them shipped, Shortly after that, (probably just a few days later) ,(I'm just Guessing here), they will be available for purchase through distributors / retailers.thanks Ron, it is great to hear all those that waited for recall will be taken care of first, i am willing to rely on the luck of the draw as soon as they are satisfied, for me that kind of CS is assurance DAR does not do straight retail sales.
Ok guys, I'm sorry for taking so long to get back to this thread, but here's the latest update.(Jason, thanks for answering Don's question on the barrel length). As I understand it, a DAR QC rep has recently arrived at the Mfg facility to verify the G2 production run is in compliance with the requested upgrades and changes I have previously listed in this thread. I also suggested 2 more changes to be made. 1- that a "Slot" be milled into the Fill Port Dust Cover, to allow the Dust Cover to be rotated for Fill Port Access, (rather than having removing it), to expose/access the Fill Port. 2- that the Fill Probe now be made of Stainless Steel, (rather than the current Brass Fill Probe), to prevent unnecessary "wear" or "witness marks" from the locking/retention balls, in the standard Foster Quick Disconnects we typically use with our Fill Rigs .Providing that these Production Run Guns are now up to snuff, (and there are no new unexpected "Surprises"), the guns should be given the Green Light, and should be on the boat within the next 2 weeks, coming this way. Average travel time from dock to dock is estimated 4 to 6 weeks. So yeah,... it looks like they aren't quite going to make (the originally anticipated arrival time of) "The end of the first 1/4", (end of March), 2019...as per the Recall Letter stated,BUT, it DOES look like they are headed this way very soon. Remember, I'm just the "messenger" here, (so don't shoot the messenger please) and lastly, for this update, Here are a few pics that were previously requested. I hope you all find this latest info helpful and satisfactory... and as always,... I will continue to provide more updates as I receive them. These pics, are of the DAR .25 G2 Prototype and upgraded Magazine, that I have field tested last week.So far, I am very pleased with all the changes made per my suggestions. The trigger group still does need a little "love and attention", but it is nothing that the average guy will find daunting or difficult to do. Just your basic "polishing and lube tuning" (of the trigger group parts), that Most of us generally anticipate in a entry level PCP
