I spoke with them over the weekend.
There are actually 2 issues holding them up, that neither of which, are under Aim Sports control.

First, they (the guns and barrels) have been here, on our shore, in our port, for almost 3 months... but Customs is having some aort of issue with them, claiming that they are FIREARM barrels, and therefore under strict restrictions and regulations.
This is being addressed and Aim Sports is jumping through hoops with Customs trying to get that straightened out.

Second is this Corvid-19 mess that has quarantined many shipments/boatloads/containers coming from China. ESPECIALLY shipments originating from (or anywhere near ) the Wuhan area.

That's all I know right now.

If (when) I learn any more, I will share that info here.

How do you like it? Is it regulated?

I am looking at semi autos. I probably have too many guns and not shooting enough. Eventually I should just have maybe at most 3-5 guns and make them good.

Thanks Ron for an informed update. The custom issue is surprising. air guns needs barrels too, there must be some differences compare to firearm barrels. Maybe different rifling?

I am in no hurry as I have enough guns to shoot.

Ron.....maybe Air Sports should get the NRA behind them since these "air rifles" are being called "firearms".

Ron, that is great news! Finally my two rifles are on the way, quality checked and accuracy tested. I am sure they will be my most accurate guns without spending a fortune!

Thanks Ron for your hard but wonderful work! This is not easy - first the recalls, then correcting manufacturing issues through many tests, then custom, then finally COVID-19. Frankly I thought the COVID-19 and trade war will make it impossible for the manufacturer to deliver. But luckily you made it through and now it is on the way. All of us who got the guns own a gratitude to you and the testers!

Well this could be a limited production collection for me, wish I also ordered a 0.22 in addition to the 0.17 and 0.25 I am receiving

Finally received my two (0.177 and 0.25) new DAR rifles. Hope the other folks got their rifles too. Thanks Ron for tracking everything down and made it happen.

I ordered the DAR .25 Gen II this morning. I jumped on the 2020 promo code and got $20 off. Gun and 2 spare mags delivered for $319.
I expect the phone call tomorrow.
I just read all 10 pages of this thread and I cannot understand why, after all the waiting and waiting only one person responded that they received their Gen II. And not even one gave the proverbial thumbs up... or down.
I have very high hopes for this gun.... stay tuned for my experience.

How about this....
If you did receive a Gen II and began a thread elsewhere, maybe post a link here to you post so we can tie this in and get some closure on this, somewhat, bad experience.

I didn’t start a new link, but I have been contributing to others. I sent my 2 back to SG for a refund two years ago. I did get a call from Ryan and he honored the offer to sell me a Gen 2 at the price I originally paid the the Gen 1 and I took him up on the offer. I originally had a .177 and a .25 but opted for one in .22 this time because that’s primarily what I shoot. So far I have been very impressed with the improvements in this model over the last one.
