Funny... I can deorganize a space in less than 15 minutes but, I'll never understand why it takes sometimes more than a month to reorganize.

 Packed the Jet1 with 60 gr. .25 slugs, this afternoon, just incase a varmint gave me an opportunity to relive some negative work pressure from this AM  Did spot a BA wood chuck high tailing it into the big brush pile, he will have his day

Got a pine squirrel inside of my "exclusion zone" yesterday with the Stormrider. Forgot to take a Pic before it became dogfood. I need to pull out some from the freezer and slow cook them this weekend.

I’ve finished fiddling with this sawed off Crosman Fire/Shockwave hybrid thing. . . . .Really. . . . . Done this time. . . .

I found a two pack of Jobsmart 250 lumen LED flashlights at Tractor Supply for $19.99.  They run on three AAA batteries and are slightly over 1” in diameter.  However, a flat machined into one side of the casing allows it to fit into a 1” scope ring.  I screwed a scrap piece of Weaver rail onto the left side of the forearm and attached the light.  It’s easy to push the pressure switch on the light with my left thumb.  The light will illuminate out to 75 yards well enough to shoot by and has held up for about 75 shots now.

Removed the shroud from the benji trail np xl and wrapped the barrel in tape before putting the shroud back on.

Accuracy seems to have improved.

Then I tightened the screws.

Accuracy still better than pretape, but less than pre screw tightening. Maybe I just got tired. [chuckling]

I used to own a 22cal Benjamin Trail NP XL 1000.
I gained consistent accuracy by leaving the shroud off and wrapping the barrel with self-adhesive camo tape.
I now wrap all the barrels on my rifles.

I have a thing for electrical tape like some folks have about duct tape. I use it on so many projects.

I will try removing the shroud. Maybe it will become more consistently accurate. I will also learn how loud it is [chuckling].

The Monster Bolt #4-48x1/4 arrived and are a .21 head diameter.
The bolt wouldn't close so I turned the head down to .185ish and flatened the button head and the 1322 is SNUG now.

Chrony (all with 10.1 Crossman Barrel and CPHP 14.3)
10 pumps 465/472fps about 7fpe
15 pumps 404/391 then I realized I have retained air at 15 pumps
Clearing the retained air
461/452fps  at 15 pumps
Back to 10 pumps 440/438fps no air retained.

Going to try enlarging the barrel port to 0.170 to match the Ice Maker TP.
Guessing I need the valve open longer the clear retained air so a heavier hammer spring or a lighter valve spring...

I'm back to playing musical scopes today and other misc activities. I took off the Bushnell ar series scope I impulsed bought a while back. It's a nice scope but it's only 3x9 and I put a viridian scope on it that was clearance at optics planet a week or so. It's a 3x12 scope,it is just a touch longer but nothing too crazy. I also laid out the vinyl that I plan on installing on the challenger. Then I ran down to bomgaars and got some metal set screws for my bison barrel band, it had some threaded delrin screws in it but the one was stripping out on me and I didn't want to deal with that lol. While I was there I bought a 27 gal tote to organize better. So now I have my big tote with only ammo in it and filled the 27 gal tote pretty quick with parts and misc items that were starting to over flow into the area imagine that. Then I pulled out the hp max 45 and started checking it out to mount an upgraded scope. It has the compact Utg 3x12 but I'm going to switch it out with the 3x12 umoa. I might pull some measurements on the challenger later but Bears getting pooped for today.

Back to the mill on the Challenger Sear.
Beta version is better than the Alpha.
Now is the time to go real slow as the last few dimensions are critical.
It is currently the right overall radius length and proper angle on hammer end.
The radial length to thin ledge will determine success or failure....
Also have to get the rear edge of the hammer catch radial length correct for the AG to cock properly....

The parts came in for the mold oven side of the dual PID box. I went out this evening and put it in the box. I got it all wired up except for the lighted rocker switch that I'm still waiting to arrive. I also still need to drill a hole in the oven cover for the probe and bypass the rheostat on the hot plate burner.

I took the GWW in .177 out to the range. From 25 yards with 4 different pellets around 8.3 to 8.8 grains, temp at 82 degrees and little to no wind.
Not as impressive accuracy wise as the Disco and Marauder but steady at around 857 to 858 fps but the JSB Exacts ran about 890.
I will try my other chrony next time.
I fired a couple of 5.56 grain pellets and they sounded like a 22 rimfire at 1010 to 1026 fps. (one read 1093 BION... skeptical on that one).
Not sold on the breakbarrel yet.

Then I put the Utg compact 3x12 that I had on the max onto my 22 cal armada that I have turned up. Then I put a vector optics marks man fixed 10x on my Fortitude. Here is a peek of the challenger with the vinyl by it. That's next on the to do list.
