I patronized Dunkin for many years. Many years ago. Back when they were good. DD makes heavy, cake donuts. KK makes fluffy donuts. Of the two I prefer a cake donut. Do-nut King’s are like Dunkin used to be.

Baking up bbq thighs for dinner as I type. Didn't see your thigh post until now so we're on the same wavelength. Had pork sausage and bacon for breakfast then a lot of delicious red grapes for lunch!

My dinner was the meal that reminded me of my Grand-Dad and myself eatin "leftovers" after the holidays years ago.
Ham on a roll with butter and pepper.... That is all.
So good and great memories .

The casserole brigade has arrived! Several of the neighbors brought food as is traditional during a southern wake. Mom had a wonderful sausage, mushroom and rice casserole, a broccoli cheese casserole, and black beans and rice. There is a great strawberry cake, a black velvet cake, pecan and apple pies too! I had two helpings of the sausage casserole and the black beans and rice. All of this food is greatly appreciated since we are all working hard to settle my brother's affairs and no one feels like cooking.

Thanks Folks! We are drowning in sympathy and food. One of my Mother’s many quirks is she hates having leftovers in her house. We have to bring it all home with us. So our refrigerator is stuffed with Tupperware and Pyrex.
