It's a rainy day, so cooking dinner inside. Made a red sauce and a white sauce pizza. Red pizza: Italian sausages, broccoli, mushrooms, and bell peppers. White pizza was half Italian sausages, broccoli, and red peppers, and the other half was chicken, broccoli and bacon.

Not initially enthusiastic about the boneless skinless chicken thighs I bought today. The skin-on version looked so ghostly white (what happened to yellow chicken skin?) that I passed on those. I feared the skinless meat would dry out on the grill. Didn't want to make a marinade. But I suddenly noticed the sealed jar on hand. It contained an opened bag of Mexican ground red chile, leftover from making chili several years ago.

The chile had lost its firiness yet worked perfectly as a dry rub. Meat turned out juicy, tender, and better than I'd have guessed.

A fresh mango, some dried goji berries, and cocoa-dusted cashews rounded out the meal.

Grilled up a burger with sharp cheese, ketchup, mustard and Kinder's caramelized onion butter seasoning with a dill spear pickle which was mighty tasty eating! Chocolate layered cake will be for dessert.

Beautiful day, so it's back to the Blackstone!
Chicken thighs fried rice. I made a huge batch, so the forearms got quite a workout. Turned out pretty darn good!
