Sean and I shot tin cans tossed in the yard. We used a HW30S (Sean) and a HW95 (me) shooting the RWS R 10 wadcutters that were the $5 special at the end of 2020. See, 2020 wasn’t all that bad now was it?

I'm enjoying my RWS R 10 wadcutters that I bought at that $5 special. I regret not buy more than 8 tins. I know your boys enjoy time you spend with them.

Shot the little .177 B1! Turns out to be pretty cool, synthetic piston and breech seals, and an okay trigger.

I should have bought more too. I bought 8 tins also. I hadn’t shot them before. I’m not sure how well they actually shoot but Minute-of-tin can is good enough for $5/tin!

I like the Winchester Round Nose pellets from Tractor Supply. I’m just about out. The peg is always empty when I go there. Maybe I should make an order with them?

Popped out from under the deck to shoot a mag of hades at 33 yards with the Benjamin Cayden, shooting at a umarex box target attached to a tree stump. hit the paddles every time only leaning against a post.

Just came in from shooting silhouettes,

from 40 yards,

with my Daisy 853,

and the stock 10 meter sights.

I must admit, I replaced the chicken with a wine cork, but still, 40 yards with an 853?! That was the best 40 minutes of my day.

Got home early from work. Cleaned the barrel on the new Walther Parrus .22 and sighted it in for 30 meters with CPDUM 14.3 gr. Shot paper and 3” & 2” spinners. About 50 pellets, then took 2 shots kneeling at 2” spinner at 20 meters. It likes the Premiers. I’ve got a long way to go til I scope it.

During lunch I took 3 shots at 18 yards to finish zeroing the work Daisy 880 with hunter extreme pellets, shop project plywood target = 6x6 and 6x4 scraps of 3/4" plywood, screwed to a T with 2 used deck screws, and a square of duct tape stuck to it on edge to make a bright green diamond.

Went down to the river on the backside of my property that's getting high and ready to flood tonight and shot all the sticks as they floated by with my R7. When the river is running fast it's a pretty good exercise in speed loading the break barrel to try and get a second or third shot on the same chunk of wood.

I shot a couple of spoons with my open sighted HW50S as the snow was trying to melt in the backyard and on my target stand. We don't get much snow in the Pineywoods of East Texas. In fact, we moved here 27 years ago next month and this is only the second real snow we've seen here.

Drug out the 48 and did some shooting at 34.yards to try and get the scope sighted in. I decided to switch scopes to my Tasco 2-10 scope from my OLD Red 400s scope which is a 2-7 32mm scope which is not strong enough for my OLD eyes. I had been waiting most of the day for the wind to stop.

Cans and a spinner target with a much modified Crosman 1322. The can nation suffered grievous losses, and my forearms got a little bit beefier for it.

I've got a scope coming for it, but I might hold off mounting it until I get bored of the stock peep sight.
