just got in from adjusting zero with the Tai-vet @ a close than normal shot..10yrds, taking note of mil-dot placement for 5 thru 10yrd shots.

grandkids were fishing at our back 80 pond here on the farm today and they were
over-whelmed with cottonmouth (moccasins) 

these  bad boys must me eradicated quickly, so tomorrow we will be in process
of that removal....with AG's and PB's

While grillin up some burgers i tossed a laundry detergent cap out in the yard, then proceded to move it around with the Red Ryder.


After dinner  i took out the Trail NP2 and shot some knock down and flip up targets.
This rifle always amazes me with it's accuracy.  I was shooting off hand at 25 yards and using CPUM 14.3 domes for the 1st time in this rifle and again it placed them right where i was aiming.


Really, i dont know why i got into pcps as I've taken more game and pests with this rifle than all my other rifles combined. No support equipment, and i don't worry when i caught in a rain.


I need to install a CTT trigger and see what it really can do.

0.25 caliber.  Green laminate stock.  She's a beauty.

Today, I got out my Peep Sighted HW30S and set up a 25-yard plinking and target rack for a few shots.  Tomorrow is Juneteenth and I'll shoot some before and after the parade and picnic.  Dang, I love my kleine frauleins!

Decided to (re)test some more, smaller grain pellets in my Crosman Nitro Venom Dusk (.177) today.

It hates the pointed Daisy 7.2 pellet but loves the 7.5 gr. Daisy Wadcutters. (Go figure) 

Also, I shot groups of 3-5 shots with the following pellets (at 13 yards):
    6.9 RWS HPs,                                     Loose group, about 1" ctc
    7.1 H&N Excites,                                 roughly 3/4" ctc
    7.33 JSB Diablo,
    7.4 Crosman Destroyer,
    7.0 RWS Basic Diablo Wadcutters,
    7.0 RWS Hobby Wadcutters
    7.48 H&N Excite Econ pellets

I checked my kill zones on and off all day and got nothing.

However, yesterday I set a gallon milk jug cap out at ~60 yards and was able to hit it with regularity once I figured out the right hold over.

7 out of 10 shots hit it.  I was very pleased!

Shot 1/2 Dzn. aerosol cans with the ole Benjamin Genesis .22 , have a Dzn. more to finish off next week, then after work I set out by the pasture and popped 1/2 dzn or so HOSP with the P-rod, even shot some with JSB Hades, like to try them with a bit more energy next.

Here is a pic of the magnetic HOSP attracting fence. Easily a shot at one every couple of minutes.

Very nice rifle I think you're going to like it. Unless you need a big bore get the .22 version the reason being you are going to have a hard time not grabbing it  every time you want to plink the regulated high shot count makes it difficult to put down and you will tend to burn up a bunch of pellets every time you get the urge to shoot.

Was shooting my son's Airsoft desert eagle at a hairy lil black spider up in the crease of the wall near the ceiling. Can't hit the broadside of a barn with the barrel stuck in a knothole with this thing? And I can hear airsoft BB's rattling around in the handle, but can't get it to reload?

That's superb shooting IMO! Well done. Which gun(s) were you shooting?

BTW, I really don't need to read results like this----cause it makes me want a PCP! 

Glad you're having a fun time! So am I, just at shorter distances for the time being.
