Not too shabby grabbed the second mag realizing it was loaded with CPHP's ... Lowered the POA to 6'clock and emptied all 12 making an @ sub dime size hole ... not too shabby Yup that's at 50 yards folks !!
Can we see some groups please?
As an FYI, I was just informed by the vendor I purchased from that they have spare magazines in stock for the Mutuant now.
Good to read through this thread. If Motorhead says it's good, it's good!I did not get the standard because (1) it was sold out (at WWAG), (2) I like the shorter version for carrying in a smallish bag and (3) I don't have that much trunk space. Motorhead has freakishly long limbs, so the short may be a little too short. But I have short and stubby limbs, short is just about right .If I get it set up before the next FT match, I'll give it a try (dialing power back to 20 FPE), perhaps even in open division. I don't have any problem embarrassing myself. The problem is that I want to keep the D460 with the nice Hawke scope, so I need to find another scope for the pup. For the size, a Clearidge RM 3-9x32 is probably just about right, but I also want a little more magnification for longer range shooting...I do want to know one thing: how much power can be adjusted using just the HST adjustment? The short is supposed to have 25 FPE stock, can it be dialed back to 20 FPE or less just using the HST? Matt at WWAG mentioned that a softer replacement spring may be needed to dial back more.

http://talontunes.com/shop/taipan-mutant-magazine/ Ouch .. yea a bit pricey
Ordered up 3 more ... 5 mags = 60 shots is perfect.Just need to do some engineering and come up with a clever way to carry them integral to the rifles stock
