RWS hobby pellets. I didn't know they were gonna chrono it. They did say they would test it.

Oh baby!!!!
After setting up that beauty, cleaning the barrel and getting comfy with her this is what the lady is capable of!!!
This was 6 shots at 50 yards off a bench with a front bag.
6-24x56 Sidewinder on top shooting JSB 8.4.
She shoots purdy straight!!!

Wow! That's some purdy good shootin'! I can't wait to get to know her! I have the mounts. Just waiting on the scope now. It really is a nice looking gun. Hopefully I will sleep better tonight now that she's here...

Please let me warn you about something. When I first shot my HW98 she had spring noise & kicked like a mule. After 1000 shots the shot cycle was much better, after 2000 shots the shot cycle was even better and the spring noise was all but gone. I was going to tune her after I got her, but she settled down and my FWB went to the tuner 1st, my 1987 Beeman R1 will go out Friday, and the HW98 will follow that one. She is so good that the tune on her got put off until last.

The waiting game is killing me too. I too am waiting for my scope from wyvern creations and my mounts from PA. We have had beautiful weather the last couple days and I can't wait till my goodies come in. Everything about pellet guns make me feel like a kid most of the time and I love it.
That is one awesome rifle! Definitely on my "want list".

Joe, awesome shooting ... wow 50 yards. There was a post a while back, where someone was questioning whether a springer could ever do 1/2" groups at 50 yards. I'm pretty sure you just showed us it can be done. I think that other post also challenged all shooters, any genre, to shoot 5, 5 shot 1/2" 50 yard groups in a row, on 5 different targets. My money is on you Joe.

Can't wait to see if I, (not the rifle) can shoot 1, 1/2" group at 50 yards. Practice ......

I've done it many times, but never shot 5 groups in a row.
Here's another one at 50.
10 shots with the 97.

Sweet ..... that day the SHOOTER couldn't miss. The trick is consistency in placing the rifle back in almost the excat same position on the front rest etc ... after cocking and reloading. At least for me, this is the key for the small group. I'm not telling you naything, obviously you have this procedure down pat.

You forgot the most important question of all how many pellets a day and how many days a week does he shoot . I think the answer will surprise you and don't forget what his monthly bill to Pyramyd Air for pellets is on average. I know that my silent trap weighed 40 lbs when I firat completed it last winter and 1 year later when I stripped it out it weighed 60 lbs more.
