Point in fact: I have a booklet with all the warranty and instructions that came with all my guns from AoA, and I still have all the shot reports from AoA. They have never not done it. Additionally, they always have a chrony spreadsheet they attach from an old school calculator giving the ES and velocity. Pretty nice.

Yup, that’s what I was expecting based on what they say/is written everywhere and why I was shocked to receive the wrong rifle in caliber AND stock material.

-AND I didn’t even mention the following so as to not dog on them publicly SOO badly...but the receiver was coated with what looked like ground up brown cardboard into dust, caked in the groves for the scope mount and all in and around the flat head screw at the rear of the receiver.

It was CLEAR no one looked this one over...

It was worse in person. It wouldn’t blow off either. I had to take a nylon brush and a pick!

Knowing how they run things they requested the name on the test shot sheet to have a talk with whoever sent that out. Bad mistake. But overall looks like it worked to your benefit.

Paul,  I received a FedEx shipping label from PA.  Looks like they found a stock.  Says it’s shipped and by the weight, the stock must be included.

I have my fingers crossed that they are actually walnut as pictured, and not the old style beech!  The description just says wood, it doesn't really say what kind!

The picture in the add is defiantly the new stock.  The comb riser is wood, not plastic.

No doubt!   I think PA would be remiss to substitute the old beech stock and think no one would notice!  The picture is pretty clear that's the new style, and the ad does say it's the new stock, they just failed to mention what type of wood it's actually made from!

Not sure how Turkish Walnut compares to American Walnut, but suspect it will be better than Orangish Beech.

If it’s FedEx smartpost, USPS delivers it to your door and you always loose an entire extra day just in the transition from one carrier to the other. Other than that, FedEx is usually pretty great and I’ve really tested ALL the carriers recently... in the last year I’ve been buying tons of parts for my bike, everything needed to get started air brushing, about 15 books to complete a rare collection (~30 books), parts to rebuild 2 old chainsaws, accessories and go-fast parts for my new chainsaws, An air Venturi m1a, a replacement 20 year old Gamo Hunter 440, a Crosman 1322, A Marauder, all the pellets and targets and accessories for said Mrod, parts to customize the 1322, and A LOT more random stuff I’m forgetting.

About a 1/4 of all that was shipped with FedEx. They’re USUALLY pretty good unless it’s the dumb FedEx smartpost collaboration with the post office ime.

Nope, not SmartPost, it was FedEx Ground 2 day, that's turned into 3 Day delivery!  It took PA 4 days to pull, pack and ship it!  Seven days from placing the order to hopefully receiving it, from Ohio to NW Florida (a 6-7 hour drive)!  I can order from Huma-Air in the Netherlands and have it in my hand 2-3 days after placing the order, I really don't understand why these U.S. based companies and carriers can't do the same...   Other than they really don't care!

FedEx delivers to our neighborhood daily, so even when I do have something shipped FedEx SmartPost, FedEx typically delivers it because they are in the neighborhood anyway!  It rarely get transferred to the Post Office, but when it does, that usually adds 2 extra days because our Post Office is just about worthless!

Mine is showing out for delivery, but I’m a couple hundred miles away, at camp.  I’ll get to see it Sunday, though.

On the other hand, I have “pending” delivery from FedEx on a spinning reel that should have been here yesterday.   

While Amazon drops before the AM sort, the rest are afternoon drops at the AO.  They will get sorted that afternoon or the next morning, typically.  So they will always add at least 1 day.
