Called Crosman this morning and got another nice lady, she had no idea why they called Friday.

She did inform me that my Kratos 25 will be delivered on Wednesday.

For what it's worth i ordered a Cayden friday night,25% off ,free shipping and no tax.

At this point in my life, that service is exactly what I need and is why I chose the Kratos. I just have too many sight issues. I have Lani52 help me tear these things down with me, so she can put them back together.

She does not know I have a really nice Huma tear down video under the tree for her.

I was all primed for the SAM, but held off the pay button for one last look at SAM articles. That was when Fuzzy grub’s thread popped up with his troubles he was having with his brand new SAM. I will probably buy one when they run a bit better.

I got mine yesterday, a day early.

Seems to be a nice rifle, but with the short magazine it is a pellet gun. The surfaces of the rifle was sticky with some preservative. I used shop towels and alcohol to clean it, the bore had the usual new gun gunk.

I spent most of the day looking through risers and getting my Hawke 4x16 ffp optically centered in the Burris insert rings and on UTG lever risers so it would clear the magazine.

The magazine may function with Pollymags, although I used nail clippers to shorten the insert to be sure. It feeds the NOE 27 grain cast pellets, my supply is low, so I cast a few but was in a hurry, I also ordered some Of AA’s version of the Kings.

It is very quiet turned all the way down and sounds more like a staple gun than a air rifle in my sound box. That power adjuster is a neat feature compared to other rifles I own, mine was turntable with my fingers.

It is a handsome rifle, needs some use to smooth the trigger and sidelever, but they are serviceable as is. I doubt that the power wheel will see much use as I shoot 10 yards, a task that it will perform admirably as the dehorned polymags went into one very small hole on low power.

It does take a bit to get used to the magazine. It loads like a Mrod mag, but goes in backwards and sits higher than a Mrod mag.

I have a CF bottle that would make it lighter, but for what it is, it is man portable.

I like it.

Should’a bought a 25, that is funny, when I realized that the 25 caliber pellets and slugs that I had for my Seneca carbine were not going to work in the Kratos I wished I had gotten the 22.

Grass is always greener.

RC my .22 Cayden is a heck of a pellet shooter, I've shot one of my .22 BBT's through it but that's it haven't tried them in the woods because it's not really that powerful the way that it is for the heavier stuff.

The breech opening does not have the length to feed 25 caliber slugs.

My intentions are to keep it on low power.

It is an attractive rifle.

Scott my Cayden it really accurate shooting my cast Magnum Hunters, if I miss it's my fault, I made a shot on a fox squirrel about 2 hours ago at the state land, I was going for a head shot and hit just behind severed the neck, it was a long fall from a huge oak and DRT.

To be quite honest.. it shoots many varieties well.

So folks.. SOMEWHERE was a post for the Crosman part # for the magazine. I want to order more but so help me, I can not find it.

I had the part numbers for 22 and 25 cal.....I bought 6 of each, had it on a note in my jeep which isn't here. If it's not posted by tomorrow morning I'm going to get my jeep and I'll check. I think they were $10ish each

Thanks Scott for the info, I have never set and read so many posts at one time, I hope mine is as good as all of the others. I mounted a Mueller 8-32 power scope on it last night, but like you I have some other things that have priority over it. I like the Mueller line and all of my CZ's wear them.
I am looking at a compressor right now so if anyone has advice lets hear it. Terry

Hey Scott in case there's no answer on this for you, I had no idea of the part number for my Benji SAM mags so I simply called customer service and the nice helpful lady looked it up and sent them right out to me. Unless the post you are referring to was some kind of special price? But then Crosman only charged me ~$12/ea. for those new-design semi auto mags so the Kratos mags can't be but like $10 each?

Just trying to be helpful though that don't always work out for me sometimes ...

And that is also my assessment of the gals I talk to at Crosman, nice helpful ladies.

I was out of 25 caliber pellets that would work through my Kratos magazine, and that amounted to less that 20 Polymags, dehorned with nail clippers in a very inexact method. They were one holders on low power.

I also cast and sorted some NOE Hunters, my scale says 28 grains. Same thing 10 shots, one hole.

I also have 4 tins of AA 25.39 on a FX vehicle that gets here on Wednesday.

So far everything is on low power as I only shoot ten yards. With the Hawk, Ian see the DIY pelletS penetrate the paper towel, hit the base of the pellet stack in the duct seal and bounce back out. Probably screaming down range at 475 FPS or so

when I get my AA pellets, I will break out the FX chronograph for Troy.

Lever and trigger are getting smoother, the lever acts like it has no spring attached, it is that smooth and light.

I did my first fill yesterday, 2000 psi to 3000 psi with my little Chinese/Tirkish Spark compressor the lineage would suggest it is well traveled if nothing else hey? I have a 12 inch fan running on the Spark, Hatsan says shut it off at 195F, it was at 152F when it got to 3000psi on the JoeB gauge. I have around 4 hours on the vibration activated hour meter.

Compared to the Seneca 25 carbine, prod and Skyhawk, this airgun is far easier to shoot well. An attribute many knowledgeable rifleman would say is a hallmark of an accurate rifle.

Yep them Crosman folks are professional all right RC.

Say, on the Hatsan Spark compressor (I hope that's what you have when you mention "Spark"), do you know if it has an auto shutoff based on the temperature? Or must one monitor temps manually?
