It looks like it just screws in-between the bottle and the block. Usually (as with the Marauder) if it can be installed/removed without any permanent modification to the air rifle, you should be okay. I've added a regulator to my Marauder and still was able to get a poppet under warranty. I would think that as long as the installation does not damage or cause a failure, you should be okay.

You would want to keep the original bottle to put back on if you need to send it back.

The fill on the bottom, or end of the bottle was done by Allen Z. One of the most celebrated tuners in rapids, Styers, and HW-100 out there. There was a lot of controversy as to how save it was. However, never an issue reported.

Another member totally went through the Akela and had vast info posted but I can not find it now.
That said... with Crosmans 5 year warranty I am not about to void it by taking it apart.... at least for a while.

I hear you, at this point in my life I would give it a case of BBR. However unscrewing that metal bottle and replacing it with my CF bottle should only make it better. I have been resisting the urge to sell it and buy a “value pack” gun to put it on.

I really do like my Cayden, it seems to be a very well built gun, it's a fantastic squirrel gun too. I see that Crosman is sold out of the Akela's, I think that they're the most popular of the three imports from Crosman.

Mine has been apart as far as possible without de-gassing it

I haven't check yet to see if Crosman has made an EVP manual available for these guns yet, sure would be nice if they did. Usually as a rule Crosman has always waited until the warranty was up on production start date before they were available, I hope that's not the case with these guns.

There are a few items in the parts breakdown pic that I like and are really pushing me to rethink buying a Turkish rifle .
The trigger for one looks to be a drop seat design with better adjustments than let’s say the original Evanix design .
The pellet pressure be being square , looks easily accessible , someone could even button it to make it be smoother operating.

Something I don’t like is the cocking arm linkage, looks a little fragile at the pivot points .that’s how I see it from the pic but could be completely wrong.

I have been checking both my inbox and junk.

Yesterday I called Crosman, I got a very nice lady working from home, she looked it up and found my order and I found out how to pronounce Kratos.

Really???. Roller bearings . Man it’s getting harder not to buy one of these.

I missed a call yesterday, Friday @ 3pm pmt, from Crosman, I have no idea what it was about, hope they were not calling to say they ran out of Kratos.

Now I get to worry all weekend.
