What airgun related did you do today?

If it's a straight tube like them LPVOs, I would not worry about parallax too much.

I have tested mine so many times, a 1-4x20, with very favorable results.

There's actually a somewhat affordable Athlon LPVO with a 10-yard to infinity parallax adjustment, but it's only a 1-4:

They have excellent warranty like Vortex 👍

I think it's the only LPVO in the market, aside from the uber pricey March, that has a parallax adjustment.

I think I really want at least a 1-6 based on my experience using my 4-16 Hawke (I forget the objective diameter). I have a 3-9 bugbuster knockoff that I really loved until the crosshair decided it would just settle wherever it wanted. The 3x setting on the knockoff scope looks more like 1x to me, but maybe a mid tier scope would be fine at 4x? I've noticed my second no brand chinese scope at 2.5x doesn't look much different than my naked eye, but that one goes up to 10x, and I never do anything to it because it works and has been dead reliable on my big bore.

Crazy it has no brand markings anywhere... nice glass too,   Just not an AO.

That Blue Ribbon would fit nicely ony FWB 300S... Trade you for a CP.

Casted 388 wad cutters.  Only 119 were good.  Still getting the hang of it.  These small pellets sure are tough to cast, harder than bigger stuff.  Its hard keeping the mold hot enough so the skirts fill out consistently.  But eventually I'll figure it out.  17 gr NOE 22 cal wad cutters.  Mine are coming out around 17.25 gr.  In the past two days, I've cast 286 keepers.  Not even a tin, but it has been fun doing it.

Tried out a couple of them in my 2240.  That was satisfying.  Little more kick with these than with the lighter pellets.  Longer, so easier to hold onto and load.

 Life time buddy stopped by, got to showing him some airguns, and was ready to unveil the .50 Piledriver, when SWMBO came down to let us know there were storms on the way, so Brian had to book it out of here on his Harley. Seems something always cuts his visits short. Might be a good thing, we have been known to run amuck

Worked on the Alpha proto-type AEA Challenger stock weight reduction project.  Working with a piece of scrap wood to practice milling.  Having a lot of splintering, probably the speed I have been using for the Aluminum is too fast for wood.  Still concerning me as the slab of Aluminum bar stock would be close to $90.  I may have to eliminate the integral QDC and Pic rail as my prototype is 12" long and I'm having trouble milling more than a 3-4" pass with my current cross-slide vise.

Removed the barrel from my half worthless hpaQB79 and scrubbed the rifling hoping to get it more accurate, but I think I need pellets with a larger head diameter. I have plenty of the usual .22 dome and Diablo pellets from 14.66 up to over 25 grains, but none shoot better than 1” groups at 25 yards. My thumb will almost cover the groups if it weren’t for flyers every eight or ten shots. I am going to order some with .218 diameter head size I guess, just to see what happens. All I have are .212 - .215 actual dia. The stated sizes  never seem to match the actual once you open the tin and measure a few. By then it’s too late to return them in most cases. If I can’t get better results I’m going to pitch the lousy thing in the trash.

Superglued the AEA30 sear pieces back together and picked up a 13 piece Kobalt drill and tap set from Lowe's that includes a 4-40 and 6-32 tap so tomorrow once the glue sets should be interesting...

I thought that I was going to shoot so I dug a couple of empty Mandarin orange cans out of the recycling bin and removed the labels.  I like shooting bare cans.  I set them aside for the moment and that moment never materialized.  They are ready for when it does.

Looking at the 10x SWFA in MOA, Tract EFR AO, and Clearidge Duplex Dot.

The SWFA is currently the cheapest and with 3 extras, i.e., sunshade, level, and rings.
