Speaking of pipe dreams... 4 camera security systems are so cheap now. I think I paid $60 for the one in the shop. I'm thinking grab another one that comes with 2 cameras. One on the shooter, one on the target. The files can be clipped and merged to make some shooting vids....

Is that hardwired with a hard drive tpe memory ? I'm kinda clueless whats what on ebay etc, I have a wireless setup now but do not like it's security issues.

Yep, hardwired to a 500bg hard drive. I don't use the cloud app, just local network.

Today I resealed it to do a Pyramyd Air blog, about resealing these pistols.

I took my springer to the range today, I like it for small game hunting when a .22 LR is way over kill for squirrels or rabbits. All my shots on them are typically under 20 yards, most at around 10 yards. It's accurate and does the job. No worries about misses or loud reports when a .22lr rim fire can travel 1.5 miles. A pellet rifle is ideal in my area for small game hunting and does the job at at much less expense and with a much less dangerous shorter range.

I installed a Hatsan regulator in my Galatian, shot 5 shots, refilled it with air and am letting it sit to check for leaks.

Swapping scopes around on the .22 Maximus and preparing for it's new wood furniture. Who knows, I may scrounge up enough stuff to sell to upgrade it with a lever action repeater breech.

Moved the scope back one notch on my Zombie-rod. Re-sighted with JSB 25.39 gr pellets and shot a magazine of H&N sniper magnums also. I also swapped out the picatinny rail on the bottom of my armada for a longer one that has enough room for the sling attachment and a bipod.

If this is an airgun only forum where does the Benjamin airbow fit in that category?

It is not designed to shoot pellets or BB.

And is airsoft considered an airgun?

Sorry, I must have forgot that one since I had NO interest at all in paintball guns when I read the rules. I think we tend to dismiss things/rules that don't apply to us when we read them. I just got it because it is an old Sheridan and is the same as the pellet guns below the barrel. It fits my collection of Sheridan's nicely, I may get a CapChur someday too for the same reason, (just another type of C02 airgun IMO). I am not arguing against the rule, just explaining my thinking. I am sure the board could get cluttered without restrictions and narrowing the scope to just Metal BB and Pellet Guns only.

I would think that an airbow would be considered an airgun myself but I could be wrong, there's nothing in the rules about them

Many of the airbows will shoot pellets also I think in some cases. Seneca would be a good example of an airgun that shoots both pellets and arrows.

Two projects:
1. I hacked a 140 foot path through waist-high kudzu to an area with a couple of ground hog borrows. Technically I'm about half way done with the planned route, but that was enough for the 90 minutes or so that I put in. It was hot and sweaty work; fortunately, no sun to contend with. I nice work out actually, so I'm kind of looking forward to the next round.

2. Did a pellet velocity measurement before and after hitting a squirrel body. Results are posted in the hunting gate, but it was interesting to see how much energy was imparted to the squirrel by either a dome or wad cutter pellet. That was done right at the muzzle; for the next test I try it at a realistic range.
