I'm designing 3 x 5 index cards that will be used to record the target results at different yardages for a particular pellet. I will have a column for date, # shots, distance to target, CTC group size, group distance from POA, temperature, wind, hold, scope or open sights, etc. I'll have a Divider in the Box labeled for each airgun. Help me remember the target results when comparing different pellets, also will give me a record of improvement in the groups.

Today I adjusted the flat top piston in my 1322 carbine.It had gotten out of adjustement somehow so it was not pumping smoothly. After a teardown , adjustment and re install it is happily send .22 jsb's down range with little pumping effort:) Almost made me not hate pumping for a minute..

I applied the first coat of Scherell's Schaftol on my new rifle, the HW35E, which has Walnut.
The stripes are pretty straight compared to my other 35 E Nickel.

But it's as if the wood on either came from the same trunk.

Got busy putting the EB XVI back into service.
New hammer spring, larger Air Tank that increases the LOP and holds 4500 PSI compared to the old 2900 PSI tank.
Still need a custom Reg for the 4500 tank but only fill to 2900 PSI for now.
This is a 50 yard max gun so went with a nice UTG compact scope in 3-12

I swapped the ATN 4K Pro Scope from the Air Speed to the FX. I want to catch some video of the rat sniping and the Air Speed is just too hot or miss for that small a target.

I mounted a BSA 4-16X44 on the Air Speed and changes the Plenum on the Huma Regulator to a larger size.

Haven’t been able to test the Air Speed with the larger Plenum because the bottom dropped out right after I got the FX zeroed with the ATN 4K Pro, and it’s been raining ever since.

No rat sniping tonight, Fattus Rattus is getting a pass...

Neighbors have been out a lot today; so, no shooting as of yet. Drats.

Cleaned the back porch and set up new backer boards for pellet trapping and got ready to do some plinking.

I LOST an eBay auction on a rather rare one.

I actually expected I would probably loose it, but hey my max bid was the most I'd pay so, all's well and my cash remains for the next one.

I would have been HAPPY to get it for my price though. That's how the cookie crumbles.

Gave up on my rebuild of the 1969 Crosman 760 so I boxed it up and sent it to an approved repair shop. Now I wait.

I went to the state land and basically did a little plinking with my Xisico Sentry HC Deluxe .25, I've got some old castings that I decided to start using up, they shoot just as good as the ones that I recently had cast, I gotta cast some more of those now too. I cast up over 400 of my 19.6 grainers yesterday, I've got a pre smelted pot full of lead that needs to be used

Planned an impromptu shooting day for Saturday. Air guns and PB's, RF and CF from 10M out to 120 yards. Including clays with shotty's from my double thrower.
I invited friends, family and co-workers... The PB line up was to get them to attend... WHILE I introduce them all to airguns...

You need to purchase a Seneca wingshot ll and a Seneca Double Shot for the clay banging. That should turns some heads on the line.

Took my chinese B1 apart and removed all the oil and grease they used, made a plastic sleeve and put a new lighter trigger spring in her, then when i put the spring and rear metall thing back the gun slipped out of the spring compressor sending the spring and metall part into my thumb and point finger then continue into a flower pot and took a good piece out of it... This happened a good 7 hours ago but i still have pain in my fingers, and this was from a 5 joule gun... It is not toys we are playing with!

OUCH! What kind of spring compressor were you using? I ask so others can be extra cautious using one like it if they have one.
