Lipton Chicken Noddle Soup with "egg dropped" in. GOOD soup IMO!
My wife went to some sort of girls only function this afternoon. She brought some excellent leftovers home. There were a couple little old Armenian ladies who made some home made hummus with olives and moderately hot peppers, it was amazing and I eagerly look forward to another batch. Then there was some unnamed and unknown fish egg thing with unknown spices, peppers and green onions. It was great on a ritz and I chowed it all down in a couple minutes. Also a platter of those tiny, cute sandwiches that women make for each other. Not the kind of sandwiches that straight men make for each other. Anyways I ate the whole platter of them and each tiny sandwich was delicious. Oh and a couple stuffed mushrooms which I couldn't resist. Dessert was some cookies and brownies that were not nearly as good as the ones my wife makes but I managed to eat a few.
Do you put any water or oil in the rice cooker, or just the sausages in there dry?

Once it's boiling I pull the plug out of the wall to turn it off. It will continue to boil a little while longer then stop boiling but remain hot enough to warm the food up completely. Usually only takes around 5 minutes. Is what I just did to warm up pulled pork in a tiny ceramic bowl then I took it out and slapped it on toasted buns and scarfed it down with jalapeno kettle chips! Yesterday I had a spicy chop bbq sammich and a smoked baked tater with cheese, butter and Adkin's mesquite fajita seasoning. Mercy that was good eating! Looked good too so should've taken a pic but I was too hungry.
This just gave me an idea of trying to make mashed potatoes, using the rice cooker. Peel and cube the potatoes. Cook. Drain. Mash and season.

Mash and season.Try cooking the potatoes in a pressure cooker. That's how I do it. cube potatoes, tomatoes and kielbasa. add whatever seasonings I feel like and some beef stock. its all good.cook 20 minutes at 15 psi. using a can of diced tomatoes is totally allowed when I don't have fresh tomatoes from the garden. btw: all my potatoes come from the garden. I get beef stock in the carton containers from the grocery store.
Betty Lou made us an awesome fresh salad. I love crisp crunchy lettuce, fresh tomatoes, grated cheddar, ham chunks, onion, green pepper, garlic croutons and honey mustard. I also had club crackers. I ate a heaping dinner plate full.
