Lipton Chicken Noddle Soup with "egg dropped" in.    GOOD soup IMO!

Dried or canned chicken rice or chicken noodle soups really perk up with some sesame oil and chopped scallion added.

I had a big 1/2lb cheeseburger with french fries and ketchup. Mercy that was good! Not going to eat anything else tonight as I'm trying to keep it down. hehe

Yeah, with just the right amount of soy sauce keeping in mind that SPAM is inherently salty.

 Browned a lot of tiny onions in olive oil in a Dutch oven, then browned a bunch of carrots.   Set the vegies aside, salt and peppered the meat before browning it.  Deglazed with red wine (cabernet), threw everything back in.   Then I drank the rest of the cabernet.   Recipe called for thyme, I couldn't find any so I threw in some rosemary and a ton of garlic instead.   Recipe called for beef stock.   I didn't have any so I threw in a can of cream of mushroom soup.  It really was excellent.   Sometimes when you wing it, it comes out great.   Oh and I didn't have any beef so I used a can of tuna instead.  JK

Bill if you're willing to use soy with spam then try Japanese bbq sauce, Szechuan sauce and other Asian sauces with it too. That stuff goes great with pork.

Cooked me up some buttered popcorn with Adkin's chicken and pork seasoning. My goodness that's so tasty! Later I cooked up some chicken and dumplings with Cluck It Up seasoning which really turned out yummy too. Thinking about Cajun boudin with Cholula red sauce later mercy that's good stuff.

Betty Lou did an amazing job on that chicken salad and potato salad. Better than any store bought I ever had. I'm glad she made large batches of each. I'll be eating that for a day or so more.

You can't beat a Fats Burger when time is short and hunger is high but I'll agree with you that home made beats them all. I was fortunate to find Chef Jean-Pierre and Chef John on YT. Both are superb chefs that explain things so that even I can understand and better yet, replicate. My cooking was elevated 100% to the point that my lovely wife blamed my cooking for the several pounds she gained in the first three months of this year. To paraphrase Chef Jean-Pierre, "It's cooking, not rocket science".

I was outside puttering around and Betty Lou treated me to a couple toasted Eggo waffle pb&j samiches and a cold glass of milk. Rambo and Boss were highly jealous.
She picked up some baby Portabellas at the store yesterday and she is softening cream cheese to make me a batch of stuffed mushrooms. They will be all mine because she don't like them.

I made garlic Parmesan angel hair pasta and Smoked Garlic beef sausage.... really good

Marjo and I just had Frito Pie chased with Coke Zero.  In another hour, I'll have a few spoons of Blue Bell.

I revisited the chicken salad on toasted sub buns and tater salad. I think it was even better today than it was yesterday.
Greg, I will also dip into the Blue Bell later. Mine will have caramel syrup on it.

I passed on the caramel. But I did top the Blue Bell vanilla with Fruit Loops cereal.
Listen, if you haven't tried it you must. A couple scoops of your favorite vanilla ice cream and enough of your favorite sweet and crunchy cereal. Some suggestions are, Captn' Crunch, Cinnamon Toast, Count Chocula, Apple Jacks and tonight's flavor, Fruit Loops. Add enough cereal so you get one or 2 pieces with each bite of ice cream. The best part is that the cereal never gets soft and soggy. It stays crunchy to the last bite.
