Betty Lou is back at it again. She's making Dutch Apple pie, apple fritters and something else that I don't remember.
I requested chili slaw dogs and she said she would make them.

Oh, I remember.... deviled egg potato salad.

I had Frosted Flakes for breakfast.

Constructed the boy and myself Opaa brand gyros. Added tomatoes and thinly sliced red onions. Also, added El Yucateco hot sauce to mine.

Had a large Asian pear and the finished the last slice of store made apple pie from yesterday.

I have always loved apple pie. It was a time when I used get a couple of pies in Julian and scarf one up by the time I got home to Los Angeles. Now I'm being a responsible adult and I limit the sugar intake. Now I found this apple cake that is great with coffee.  Not as sweet but very easy and fast to make.

Grilled up some Cajun pork sausages and ate a couple with bread slices. Such goodness! Not going to warm up the leftovers in the air fryer because that will dry them out. The rice steam cooker works great for that since it keeps sausages/boudin moist inside.

She made a quiche for breakfast. That may very well be the second time in my life ever eating quiche.
I cleaned up the hotdogs and chili sauce for lunch. Probably one of her soups later. I think she made some green bean, taters and ham thing.
But my mind is on that Dutch Apple Pie.    PIE'S COMIN' !!!

Sprinkled cajun seasoning on some thin sliced pork chops.   8 minutes on the grill and they're done.    Ate them with mashed potatoes and garlic broccoli.

Yesterday, I made a large batch of stir fry using ground turkey, tofu, imitation crab meat, bean sprouts, carrots, celery, shredded cabbage, ginger, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Tonight, I served it over brown rice cooked with tomatoes. Mixed everything up with plenty of El Yucateco hot sauce. Yum!

I had a large bowl of Betty Lou's green been, tater and ham soup. Talk about comfort food. Then I finished off with a wedge of that Dutch apple pie.
Finish off the quiche for breakfast.

My wife went to some sort of girls only function this afternoon.   She brought some excellent leftovers home.   There were a couple little old Armenian ladies who made some home made hummus with olives and moderately hot peppers, it was amazing and I eagerly look forward to another batch.   Then there was some unnamed and unknown fish egg thing with unknown spices, peppers and green onions.  It was great on a ritz and I chowed it all down in a couple minutes.  Also a platter of those tiny, cute sandwiches that women make for each other.  Not the kind of sandwiches that straight men make for each other.   Anyways I ate the whole platter of them and each tiny sandwich was delicious.  Oh and a couple stuffed mushrooms which I couldn't resist.   Dessert was some cookies and brownies that were not nearly as good as the ones my wife makes but I managed to eat a few.

Dinner was a rotisserie chicken from Costco, brussel sprouts and bacon and a salad mix.  Large stuffed green olives too.  I had some dark chocolate with hazelnuts for an after dinner treat along with some coffee.
