So.....what did you shoot today?

Just 5 pellets with one gun, the Blue Streak. First 2 at the tree-hung can 50' away and then 3 at a can on top of a milk crate 33' away. Shooting angled up, shooting angled down, just to stay familiar with grab-and-go. The next few days' weather forecast has a cold front bringing cold rain, so this is probably the last outdoor shooting for a while.

That gun just keeps growing on me. It's a keeper. Too bad .20 cal is not more common.

Looking forward to reading your posts after shooting the new acquisition! I am using H&N FTT 11.42 gr pellets in it. I also have used JSB Exact Match Diabolo 13.73 gr and H&N Barracuda 11.58 gr. They're all good, so you might as well try all of them. There is one other pellet (JSB?) that's 15+ gr, which I haven't tried.

What kind of sights will your gun arrive with?

The JSB .20's are fine ... but the H&N's shoot the best for me.

I keep thinking I should join the Sheridan owner’s club just so I’d know what all the hype was about.  But I’m blind.  Guns without scopes are pretty much unshootable for me.  Scoping Sheridan’s is possible apparently but maybe more trouble than it’s worth.

I shot the XS60C again today.  What a joy this rifle is to shoot!

 Umarex Cansex, Pinty Carbine, Daisy 880, then I stopped by an old friend and let him check out the Serpent and shoot the GK1, he was impressed to say the lest, price did not shock him much as he has pricy powder burners too.

I wondered if the Sheridan rep was hype, too. Decided it was worth buying one anyway and have no regrets.

It's not any one amazing feature that no other gun can match, but the total package of shooting, durability, good trigger, solid materials, ease of use, and reasonable weight. Unless you hate pumping, of course. 😉  The peep sight does the job for me, but I don't shoot long distances anyway.

Rion, how do you like (or not) your new-old Streak?

I shot the 880 today, gratefully outdoors. Thirty shots at 33', 50', 75' (not strictly in that order). The 75' were done sitting on the ground aimed up at the tree can, the 50' were done standing also aimed up at the tree can, and the 33' were done standing aimed down at another can on the ground, except for 2 or 3 shots taken squatting. 20 RWS Super Dome and 10 H&N Terminator.

I thank you for getting me interested in the Terminators; both the 880 and the P3 like them!

Thursday LGR open till 8p :-)
The Condor SS with the PW at 6-8 settled on NSA .218x27.5HPs.  Squirrels be forewarned.  grouping MOS with the CP 12x moved from the Notos.
Yields about 15 same POI shots down to about 2,000psi.  I'm usually one mag (12) with Notos woodswalks so that should be okay for hunting.
The Notos took some learning to get the Vortex 3X Prism zeroed.  I love the reticle and will be learning to aim both eyes open with the prism....
Second group was 5 in on ragged hole and of course a 6th flyer :-(
Just before closing I made it to the PP800r with the fresh white acrylic on the shark fin.  groups much tighter with the Norma 17.6s.  THe fin is still a little fuzzy and hard to pickup so I think the Testors Florescent Orange is going on the shark fin for next Thursday.  Since learning the sight picture I was only at 5 yards.
And yes I am still capable of managing recoil....(no pictures)

added squirrel #24 to the hit parade, caught him right behind the eye and he just rolled over. Didn't move from his spot. One of a few that just dropped, no matter where they were shot.

I noticed something was causing a ruckus around sunset, which isn't too late for these squirrels at all. Found an iterant possum, who was given friendly greetings and allowed to forage unmolested. Possums are the only animal that loves slugs and snails; which makes them a gardener's best friend in this part of the country. They also eat hundreds of ticks per day, which makes them everyone's friend. I will get violent if I ever see someone harming a possum.

Now if I could just teach him to beat up squirrels, he'd get the best worms the bait shop has to offer.

I have pics of the damage done to my feeders and a shed they're chewing the roof off of, so this is personal and financial.

The streak has been true its reputation in my experience.  From opening the box and seeing it to shooting it, I have been bitten.  The 100 and streak have me convinced along with most everyone else around here that there was a golden age of multipumps here in America.  For me, it's german springers and vintage american pumpers at the top of my airgun list.

You're welcome on the terminators.  In .177 specifically, they are a good all around pellet if you are looking for a very lightweight option in lead.  I think they do wadcutter kinds of things, but can reach out a little farther before losing stability. 

I ordered some more .20 ftts along with the 13gr baracudas for the streak.  This is also my first .20 air gun.

.25 Avenger in the BR Tactical Kit. Shooting my cast NOE 250 27 RF Magnums. It rates quite high on the "Giggle Scale".
I was chasing an oyster shell around out there at 45 yards until I broke it into small pieces.

 You are correct! I looked at my empty tin of Barracudas and it does say 13.58 gr.
