Pat, I had to google "Rock squirrel"... can't recall ever hearing of them.

Plans today are to shoot my R10 because I am fortunate to be abundant in .20 pellets once again.

They are a type of ground squirrel that lives mainly in the SW USA. The little gray foxes that usually keep pest numbers down must be having kits now. I haven't seen any around lately, or the poop they like to drop right on my marked target placement area. 🎯💩

I ground the barrel leade with a round diamond bit. It would not feed wadcutters without forcing them before.

 It's wearing a dual 12g Co2 tank from a Umarex Fusion II.

 Plan to shoot a bunch with the AR2078B next, cleaning bbl now.

Saturday at LGR
The from China Swamp Fox was accurate right out of the box.  The 6 MOA Dot with circle cross was hillariously huge but I hit a 6" circle at 25 yards....
Next was the pp800r with the new fiber optic on the front shark fin.  Put together some decent groups getting used to the Ghost Ring "open sights."
Ended with the Condor.  With this 5_5 PW setting I was able to get 40+ same POI shots on a fill.  Apparently this "slug thrower" likes pellets.  Groups for the Norma 17.6 were tighter than the NSA 27grx .217.  Still have to try the NSA in .2175 and .218.
This was my first time shooting in glasses.  Only issue was the Condor cheek weld kept pushing my glasses frame up a little.  May have to raise the rings on the Condor...

Had "BlabberMouth" out for a while.
That's my home made 3622. 2260 tube with the pinned valve and 21" .22 barrel.
2k fill and open muzzle. Sounds like a .22lr when shot. After around 25 shots ole BlabberMouth begins to "BRAAAAAAPPP". Hence the name. 
But I gotta say... it's one of the most accurate 15yd guns I have with CPUM pellets. But like I said, It's loud and proud. One shot sends everything within the acre running or flying.
I love it.

I got the chronograph out and played with pellets.  I shot both Summit Rangers, the C362 and the C2100.  Lots of numbers to ponder.

I shot indoors to avoid more exposure to pollen. Paper targets with the P3 allowed me to see if there's a way to deal with astigmatism and cataract effects, especially with eyesight worsened by allergies.

The fiber optic trio gave me TWO trios tonight. After some shots I told myself to use the set that was higher and to the left of the other set. That did the trick tonight. I will find out if the upper leftward set is ALWAYS the correct one to use after more such trials when vision is acting up. Also, to just align them quickly and fire; when I stare at the front sight the vision deteriorates. Once I did both of these, results dramatically improved, similar to what I get when there is no blurring or double vision.

K98.  Match target at 50 ft.  Still learning. 190/200

Rocktitude with red dot.  10 shot groups at 50 ft.  2 with daisy wadcutters.  In the black but not great, 1 ftt 4.51 dime group.  1 terminator dime group,  The termies show more potential for tiny groups if I concentrate more and maybe sort pellets.  The 4.51s will flip the steel at 50 ft though if I hit the paddle right while the termies won't.  I think I care more about the paddle flip than the group potential since I mostly shoot this distance with these targets.  Hmmm... that said, if I switch to the field target squirrel that might not matter.  I seem stuck at 10/11 fpe.  My suspicion is the transfer port.  Will take a closer look with a fiber optic camera when next due for a hndpump.

Super sleepy when I got home from work.  Took an hour nap.  After I shook off the grogginess I grabbed the .22 cal HW30S, some pellets, a can and a chair.  I headed out back and tossed the can in the grass and set up to shoot.  It was so relaxing and much needed down time.

How did you end up loading the rice?  In paper "shells", funneled down the barrel, or somehow through the loading port?  Never tried this but summer is almost here.

If it was me, I would ram a cleaning pellet followed by the rice down the barrel just to keep the rice out of the valve.

Little wad of toilet paper in the breech, close the bolt,  then pour the rice down the muzzle.  Five pumps and keep the barrel pointed up.  Lethal range is about five feet and rice grains are not corrosive like salt.  It’s slow to reload but extremely effective.

The Vortex ram on my Hatsan mod 135 is failing. I chronographed several rifles today and the Hatsan was noticeably easy to cock.  UH OH!  25.39gr JSB kings went 540 FPS!  Way down on power.  So I guess I'll convert it to spring.  The Crosman Fire , XS60C, .25 cal Hatsan mod 125, and the C2100 were all tack drivers and all shooting right where they are supposed to.

  Hi Pat,

 It's a direct fit and screws right in. I had to replace the associated o-ring in my rifle just becasue I hadn't shot it in eons.
