Took a few pop shots out the roll up door of the shop while I was taking a break from cleaning up this morning. It just happened to be the gun laying on that shooting table at the time.

Thank you.  I took it out to the sand quarry today and tried it out with some different pellets.  It shot extremely well with the 15.6gr Norma GTFT, 14.3gr Crosman Piranhas, 14.6gr H&N FTT, and 17gr Ruger SuperPoints.  Looks like I got a good shooter!  I'm going to run some chronograph tests with the stock plastic breech and TP then add a steel breech and some extra sealing mods.  Interestingly when I was at the art supply store last week I picked up several bottles of Testor's plastic model paint with the intention of painting something camo.

Those are all beautiful Pistol AG (well and one pistolbine...lol).  The Beeman P1 is tempting but out of my league or half the price of a GK-1....

I've been running the little gamo paddle box at 7yds with the Slavia 618 today.
That's something I never could have dreamt of doing with the 618 before, but this little gun sure is a shooter now.

After building a big bore pellet trap I was able to run one mag through my m357 and m50 pistol carbine this morning. First time shooting anything for a very long time.

I wasted 40 pellets in the P3 to start today. Couldn’t believe how poorly I was shooting, both LH and RH and even after moving very close to the target. Got a sneaking suspicion maybe the barrel should be cleaned. The last session with this gun was also “off” from normal.

Took a reluctant pause to break out the Patchworm and Ballistol. YEP, barrel was a bit dirty though not horrible, just gray on the patches.

The “after cleaning” shots (44–I dropped another 16 in the gravel and didn’t use those) told me the effort was worth it. Shooting was back to normal. How quickly 1300+ shots since the last cleaning have flown by!

I’ll lube the hinge points today also and inspect the little o-ring in back. The owner’s manual says, basically, DON’T FUTZ WITH THE AIR COMPRESSION CHAMBER OR PISTON SEAL, which should only be anointed by the touch of a factory technician. I wish more info on maintenance was included.

 I put about 60 more shots down my new/refurbed Hatsan 95.

 It finally stopped dieseling and it's settling down to around 750-770 fps with CPHPs.
Accuracy seems good, pushed a pellet down the barrel and it engaged the rifling all the way through.

 So far I think I like it!

Happy to say the Ported and Plenumed Notos is sighted in and ready for Hunting season.  She's launching H&N 14.66 at 870fps and 24.7fpe.  She drops off the regulator a hair over 2,000psi at 22 shots but the last 2 in a two mag string are still same POI. I will finish the tin then find some CPHP as I understand HP should deform if over 850fps.  A few more bagged lunches should get me the Donny FL I'm eyeballing.
The Ported Challenger with barrel diameter NOEs still scattered groups both at 4200psi and at 3000psi with Hatsan Strike Pellets.  Somethings not right as the fpe is less than before porting?
Finally got to sight in the pp800r project pistol with the WGS54 Ghost Ring.  I love the sight picture, but might dab some paint on the shark fin up front.  There will be no dot or scope on this gun to complement the theme of holster gun.  It's gonna be fun learning the peep sight and plinking in the backyard.  Calling it MOS accurate now and working towards some tighter groups as I learn the sight picture.

Put some lead down at 5m in the house with my Diana chaser with the buck rail silencer on for the first time. What a night and day difference in sound. Trying to get use to the extra weight. Also put some lead through the p17. Has been non stop rain down here in Miami.
