I reckon we're going to shoot BB guns today. I have a pair of PowerMaster 66 that are both kinda special. Both are black plastic fantastics but one of them has the gold trim and the other has a 5 shot pellet clip and a silver barrel shroud. Both pump up, hold air and shoot as good as new.I have a balloon board, hanging and standing cans and green/tan army men set up to shoot at.We usually make a game such as....Split the targets equally. One target of your choice at a time. Call your intended target and you have to continue shooting only that target until it is destroyed. If you miss or the target is not destroyed it's the other shooter's turn at his/her intended target. If you destroy your intended target you get to take your first shot at your next intended target. There are odd numbers of each type target. The odd targets are saved for last and both shooters shoot at those targets until they are destroyed. The shooter destroying the last target first is the winner and gets to go first on the next round. The loser has to reset the targets while the winner does the "in your face happy dance".Clothing is required but alcohol is optional. The game is over when someone pukes.
If someone takes the no alcohol option, they may have a few advantages. Too many possibly. Consider adding a handicap.
A bloody mess target! Will keep that in mind for Halloween. Very Pittsburgh. [thumbs up]
I shot all of my air guns today. My 457 Challenger seems to have become more powerful? Even with the shroud and Donny FL Emperor my ears are ringing. Last time I shot this gun I don't remember hearing a super sonic crack! Anyone ever had a gun get more powerful after sitting for a year? Last time I shot this gun it was hilariously quiet, so something is up. When my new chronograph gets here I'll see what the actual velocity is.

Pellet tested the Gamo Wildcat for "green" PbF ammo.As expected the H&N started high at 9.57gr and the GTO at 11.75gr put down a tighter group. There's about 3-5 shots through the ragged hole in the bull. Either pellet is more accurate than my "artillery hold" technique. This jumper likes a bag just past the trigger guard.....I think there's a couple "dang that GRT4 is light!" flyers as well..lolAlso shot the .303 Challenger with the just received NSA .303x61.5gr very nice groups with a 3800 fill consistent low first shot 4-7 ragged hole bull 8 or 9 could be low as well. The 40:1 NOE .300x63gr grouped okay but wider than the NSA and the flyers would be giggling ninja squirrels. If anyone has a true .300 barrel PM me about the mold. Looking at the 62gr Accurate Molds product spec at .303 +0.002/-0.000 for 40:1.
Took a few shots at cookware hanging from trees in the backyard. I'm still recovering from the horror of shooting that B3-3.

It's an unregulated big bore, so it's definitely a weird phenomenon. Maybe the poppet spring is worn in after being under pressure for years?

Do you think an AEA Challenger would make a decent first PCP? I have a 457 Bullpup, and it's been essentially trouble free for me besides a cracked magazine cover, but I only single load it. He's specifically looking at 30 cal for having enough energy to knock down his pistol silhouettes. Has yours required any tinkering?
