I started off the day shooting the C362. I used to shoot muzzle loaders mainly. I like the slow, deliberate process of loading black powder guns. Pumpers appeal to me for the same reason. I was shooting spinners at thirty yards with Crosman Piranhas. Then I switched to a .177 cal Crosman Fire in a Benjamin Prowler stock. Ten 7.9gr CPHP reset the spinners twice without a miss. Figuring that I couldn’t top that I quit for the day.
Put about 10 pellets through new to me Beeman HW77 MK1. With the exception of the missing rear sight this gun is in spectacular shape, and I can’t shoot stock irons anyway. Beautiful bluing. Couple small dings in forestock if you look hard. It was just rebuilt/tuned by an airgunsmith who I see from time to time next door, don’t know if he’s also here. Dieseling a bit but wonderfully smooth shot cycle. Deciding now whether to scope it or go with a peep.
