Betty Lou just rolled out and Rambo has been outside barking at things that go bump in the night.I also took my coffee out and sat at the new shooting bench contemplating the next steps. I'm going back out in a few to work on the target end and try to get some junk moved off of the deck and into an out building. Dan... trust me, you don't want to see pics of the mess I have just yet. Pics will come soon.BILL, LOL, I understand, I'm ashamed of my old shed and try to crop it out of all my pictures ior not have it in the background or foreground.

Did a quick video of the steel target Matt and I giggle over. You might hear the ricochet sound if you listen close. It's much louder in person! The pellets fly off at a 45 degree angle into the woods and at times you hear them hitting the leaves.

I shot at it with a .22 springer and much to my surprise the pellet ricochet off it buzzing back towards me and actually hit me! Oops! Now I tilt it at a 45 degree angle and listen to the pellet whistle off into the distance
I was plinking today at some spent shot shell hulls. Decided to try challenging myself, and laid them on their sides with the metal base of the hull facing me (about 50 yards out). When I went to set them back up after a round of shots, most of them looked like the one on the left in the pics. The one on the right was unique and kind of cool, the pellet lodged itself right into the shot shell primer.
Shot 2 tree rats. Both ran away... (heavy sigh)Although I did hit them both (or I think I did?), I could not find either.Well, either I have lost it or my recent trials of pellets that I had already tried that did not do well in my first tests may have screwed up the barrel for a little while.Yeah... that's my story and I am sticking to it! I mean... it couldn't be ME?!?! (chuckle)Anyway, it is time to do some zero checks at 25 yards with the Crosman 10.5 domed (brown box) again. Just to make sure... (heavy sigh)Maybe I need to check the chrony again as well?Happy 4th/Independence Day to everyone!Freedom is taken for granted and should not be. It can be so easily lost, or taken away by politicians.
