 While eating my lunch in my truck I spotted a chipmunk, while I was digging for a loaded mag for my P-rod another worker drove through with the side by side and scared it under some pallets never to be seen again during my lunch break, so shot one pellet at a piece of wood chip in a pile 40 yards away.

Shot the 397 and 880 indoors at 20 yds.... was going to do some distance shooting outside with them, but it started raining about the time I was ready to go

I didn't shoot anything today but it was a rain day and I cast up about 400 of my 19.6 grainers.  Just seen some good news in the casting forum from Bob and that's NOE will be building the 217 target molds soon

Bill I seen where you posted about Woo's pigs and Woo gets a chance to feed them in the 2019 movie, great movie I thought, it's got some high ratings.

Have you shot other air rifles by which to compare the Diana 34?

I keep wondering if I missed a solid shooting gun when I bought into this hobby (for pesting). Also, given the apparently marketing of the Diana by Umarex, I feared getting a Chinese clone rather than German manufacturing.

I'd love to hear thoughts about the fit, finish, and performance of your D-34.

Tried my Crosman 2240 with the stock and scope, meassured out 15 meters and zeroed with Crosman domed, it was a horrible wind today, had to runt after the target several times cause they blow away... so i think that the result will only improve at the next time shooting with her, i shot some targets with the Crosman domed but they where so bad i didn't continue with them, some grouped realy good, then the next ones was all over the target, so i grabed the Crosman hollow point and bingo, they all where much better, didn't zero with them but i shot 30 shots from a fresh co2 to see what happens and they all hold pretty tight until the last ones that spread out, then i tried the rws hobby flatnosed and they also did ok, a bit more sensitive in the wind but i will try them more for sure! I shot 30 of those also and the result was about the same. I had some cans out at 45 meters and was able to hit them with both type of pellets, not every shot but several times

I shot nearly a tin of AA 7.33 gr. Field Diabolos through my 2 HW30S' and my beloved R7 today.  I don't know if I was/am gotch-eyed or the guns protested at the change from the low humidity AC in the house to the humid heat on the patio but whatever, both scoped rifles and the peep-sighted 30S had to be re-sighted in big time.   

Occasionally, I wonder that when switching from heavier to lighter pellets. Not long ago, I stopped re-sighting my scope and just endured the odd POI. After a break-in period, my initial setting once again worked. I'm still trying to work all these variances out.

I finally got A round to it. I decided to get in some shot strings out of my urban with my new crony to see what kind of FPE I am making with my most accurate pellets. All strings are 5 shots starting at approximately 2000psi as that's where my bottle is at and I wasn't interested in hand pumping right now. Well it seems my approximate averages all net the same FPE which is very interesting. I have my hammer spring turned all the way in for those who may have any advice or just curious. POI is different for them all the hades drop quite a bit really while everything is ether spot on or to the left a schose all grouple one ragged hole at 10y. Other than just to see what the scope is I will be working on selecting a hunting pellet a cheaper light plinking pellet and a heavier long range pellet which I know will require tuning or at least sighting in fro said pellet. Also I have some slugs to test out 26g and 28g.

Played with my two .25 rifles today the FX Crown and my Air Speed both are behaving as expected and yes the Crown is significantly more precise in the accuracy department. But at almost 50 fpe the Air Speed is still a definite winner in the pesting arena. It will do quarter sized groups at 25 yards and roughly 1 1/2" groups at 50 yards. So even if it is not DRT with the first shot the fast follow up of the semi automatic .25 allows you to finish the critter before it can wander off and suffer.

My hammer spring adjustment is all the way in, and I'm seeing the same energy levels you are. I do manage to eke out 27 fpe with the 30 grain bbt, but everything else is right with your numbers.

Had a rain day at work. So I put all the goodies in the new .177 marauder today. Got this little guy giving me 25 shots at 30 fpe with 16 gr jsb's.

I was practicing for FT yesterday and today. I was sitting on a stool and using my bipod. I would find leaves on  Yaupon bushes along the edge of the woods at different distances focus in on them and try to punch a hole in them.

Pulled out the RS78, pumped up to just over 2000 psi and shot for holdover data from 20 to 45 yards.  Useful info there.  Thinking maybe bringing my zero distances to 30 yards and having only holdover instead of holdunder.  That is a great shooting rifle.  Wish I had better machining skills and patience to tune it to maximum efficiency.
