Well Donny, slight turn of events, neither Pyramid nor Midway (the two best priced places I found) had the Bullboss in .25 and Pyramid says it will be October before they have one, so the .22 version is on the way (should be here Thursday or Friday) from Pyramid. Sure hope I can lean on you for some tips for the simple mods. Probably will not get too serious until it is broken in and I can see what kind of shooter it really is.

Well, it is very hard to find a better pup type gun at a better price.  I know you were wanting a .25, but you can have fun with the .22 too.  You won't be able to get the same fpe out of it, but it'll do almost(if not do it) 40fpe bone stock.  Mine did seem to do okay with the 25.39 JSBs when I tried it shooting them at Jesse's.  If you do a little modding, you can probably pull about 20 shots out of it at 50 fpe.  I know my AT-44 was most accurate with those 25.39s shooting about 48-49fpe.  I think the barracuda match 21.14 grains at about 925 fps would be great for medium sized critters.  That would give some good penetration with those pellets, and they are very accurate in most all Hatsan .22s.  Mine shoots them pretty much hole in hole at 30 yards, and that was before I did some "barrel work" the other day, haha.  You'll like it I'm sure   The best part about modding these Hatsans is it costs very little to do.  I haven't done EVERYTHING I can to mine, but almost.  I think my total cost in parts was probably less than $10!  It's mostly elbow grease that gets the job done...  Almost every person I've seen post groups with their Bullboss, have been shooting pretty darned accurate out of the box.  I had not done anything to the barrel on mine when we were shooting at Jesse's for what its worth.

Of course, I'm willing tell you everything I know about it.  That's half the fun!

I am not sure if you guys got any leads but these are the hoses I have. They are short so won't waste any air plus it's cheap and 6000psi. The only set back is it might take a while since its from China. However at the price buy a couple to save. These are considered wear items because of constant kinks and all.

Ok so I have an update on the SCBA fill stations, I got us 10% off for the fittings and am still trying to track down a good suppler for the micro bore hose and gauges. I couldn't find a good source for the tanks so ebay may be the best option for them.

Bummer!  Have you checked online fire supply sources?

I've been pricing the tanks on eBay and considering the amortized costs, I'm wondering if it might not be just as economical to buy new? There are a few deals on eBay, but you're typically looking at only 3-5 years of life and you still need a fill yoke w/gauge and microbore hose.  Just looking at one of Joe B's Tiger Sharks, you can buy it new including a fill station and it costs $40/yr to own (not including a couple of $12 hydros).  A lot of initial outlay, but I'm thinking we'll be out $300 if we get a deal on a fill station plus a tank that's within 3-4 years of expiration.  Amortizing a tank with only 3 years of life left in it comes out to about $35-40/yr and then add in the fill station and it's not looking too economical.

I just realized that when my Bullboss arrives, three out of my four guns will be Hatsans...   Didn't really intend it that way, but have always been happy with Hatsan's. The one exception, the weight, should be somewhat mitigated by the Bullboss form factor so really looking forward to that.

If the Bullboss performs well at the 35-40 ft lbs range, I will de-tune the P12 to shoot 14.3 CP Ultra Magnums at about 28 ft lbs for 40 shots. I really had way more .22 pellets than .25 anyway so looks like I will need to trade my remaining .25 pellets for some 18 gn JSB's and do some testing.

Mine came out of the box shooting a decent 30 shot string averaging 35 fpe without me touching a thing, so you may not have much work to do there!  I would get myself some of the cuda match 21.14s in different head sizes to see which one was most accurate based on what I've seen from my two guns.  Mine likes the 5.51s better than the 5.52,5.53s, but I've seen others that prefer the the other head sizes.  It seems like almost everything does okay with the CPUM.  Up to 30-40 yards, I've had great accuracy the the Terminators and the Hunters for tree rats.  I've never tried the predator variations, but a lot of people love them...

Hatsan and light don't really go together, haha.  It is way better with the Bullboss than the AT-44 though as far as feeling the weight.  It'll never be P12 light though.  Heck, I'd try tuning the P12 down to 25fpe.  I bet it would be seriously quiet then!

I have found a seller who will sell us multiple Luxfer 45 min 4500 psi CF tanks for $75/ea shipped.  These are dated 2006, but they need a hydro ($12 @ Peach State).  Good for another 5 years.  The photos look like they are in decent condition.  These should be the equivalent capacity of Joe B's Tiger Shark tanks.

That's a bummer man   At that price, I was even starting to think about getting a tank!  Oh, I was just kidding about secretly swapping scopes when you weren't looking, haha.  I do love that fixed 10 power scope, and I've wanted a fixed 10x for a while.  I really like the reticle on your SWFA.  I think that may have to be my next purchase some time down the road....

Yes, I saw those.  I was just a little hesitant because they looked like they had been banged around a bit more.  I should have manned-up and bought 4 when I had my chance, but just wanted to be sure I could unload the extras.

Cosmetics are not a big deal.  Tanks are made by Luxfer and must meet military and fire protection act standards.  Carbon Fiber tanks can really take a beating and not get damaged.

I understand.  But I wanted to make sure they would pass a hydro and I know how these tanks get tossed around when used heavily.
