It's something else to look through.  I can't believe how clear and bright it is.  I waited until near dark and can still see well at 50 yards through the woods and beyond.  A little on the heavy side with all the glass, but doable.

   Ordered a .22 caliber change kit for my .177 Crown. It's supposed to be the super light version and have the superior barrel liner. Got it from PA for $299 which I couldn't pass up. Seems to have saved me $100 on the kit and another $110 or so to upgrade to the superior liner from the standard stx barrel that used to come with the kits. I also remembered to order a mag to go with it. Eventually I'll order another Donny FL moderator so this barrel can have it's own & I don't have to swap moderators every time I change calibers.

Delivered by FedEx today after having a "Delivery Exception" & failure to deliver yesterday. Put it together & took 5 shots into the lower field from my bathroom window just to check for proper function. The gun, new caliber change kit & mag all functioned correctly. Next thing to do is tune & sight it in, maybe tomorrow.

Ordered a 20gr. pellet mold in brass with 2 cavities today for my 392 steroid.
Got it in brass so it stands out from all my iron and aluminum bullet molds lol.
Can’t wait to recieve it and cast some with it.

I just hope the rifle likes them! I’ve been casting for over 40 years, but i’m Sure casting pellets will be a bit of a learning curve for me... plus the fact this is my first brass mold. Should retain heat well for the relatively light weight projectiles it will be throwing though.

 Key to good pellet skirt fill out is keeping the pins and mold up to temp, and finding the right lead temp for the ambient temp where you are casting. IMO
 I am tempted to buy another DAR, though I have only had time to run one test mag through my .177 so far and Whitetail season starts tomorrow 7am sharp, sit till I shoot.

Well, I proved to myself once again (!) that patience and buying at the right time & place is a virtue! Midway finally got my return (concealed carry gun belt was dark brown instead of the golden brown to match the one I already have)processed, only to have my CC hacked for a 5th or 6th time so it didn't work for the refund. They couldn't refund my money until I found the Email I got yesterday afternoon & updated my CC info and all. I got that taken care of, so $94.24 is finally coming back to me after a few months! Midway didn't have the exact Umarex/Colt I bought the first time. So I went back to PA And got another of the nickel 5.5" rifled-barrel pellet shooters with the black grips. Gotta order another set of the faux ivory ones yet. So I got a $180 SAA on sale for $130. Then honey came through once again with a coupon for another $12.50 off. Then, I redeemed 2,000 Bull's eye Bucks for another $20 off. So with OH sales tax of $9.87, Shipping of 10.91, the TTL of $113.27 minus my refund brings the actual out-of-pocket down to $19.03! Over the last week I've made several purchases of an air rifle and pellets, since PA is getting restocked on certain ones.

I just finished shooting my new Umarex Gauntlet .177 caliber all day.  Two full tanks of air got met over 200 shots down range.  Cool fact is that the gun seems to really like Crosman Premier 7.9gr domed pellets.  If I'm doing my job, it's shooting bullseyes at 20 yards wiht a muzzle velocity between 950 and just over 1000FPS, thought this seems to have settled down into about 970-980 on the second tank.

I buy Daisy BBs in the 6000 BBs container.
I have 2 Daisy model 74s that are CO2 semi automatics.
They are FUN, FUN, FUN and they use a LOT of BBs.
Plus I have a few semi automatic CO2 BB pistols.
BBs are not accurate but they sure are fun when you can shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger.
