The 10/22 made it through the porch pirates but I don't know about the gorillas, the box looks like a hand truck ran over it. The box the gun was in is a little squashed, the outside packing to a beating. The gun and pellet look fine. Loaded it up and it shoots fine. Umarex did a great job of replicating the 10/22 even down to the annoying trigger these guns have. The single shot features is a plus and does make for a lighter trigger pull. The rail should be here this weekend. I have a Aim Sport 3x9 AO that will work well with it. Very nice co2 gun for the price.

At the time that was said to be a copy of Ruger's 10/22, and was used in an early Boy Scout Jamboree? It would be interesting.
Stopped by Walmart for some groceries and a 40 count case of CO2 cartridges jumped into the cart.

I purchased mine in the mid 80's with the wood stock. I do have the high capacity mags for it as well. Hunted a lot of squirrel with it. I also own the 10/77 and probably will do a comparison of both later on. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruger_10/22
Received my Umx Ruger 10/22 one day earlier than expected from Pyramyd Air. Got the combo with an Air Venturi Mantis 3-9x scope. Never had a 10/22 but all reviews liken it to the firearm. The stock is resin which helps with the weight of the gun especially with the scope. Takes 2 12g CO2 carts in the stock and has a 10 rd rotary mag held in the classic 10/22 mag. (I seated the Daisy Flat Nose pellets like all my rotary mags). By cocking it with the side bolt, it fires single-action with a nice breaking trigger pull...about 3#. It also fires double-action but the pull is horrendous (about 13# the reviewers say). Clocked a velocity average of 627fps...very hard hitting. Got 60+ shots from the two cartridges which is about par with several other guns using two carts. The target shows my sight-in of the scope at 11yds - 3 nice groups (okay a flier on the second group) but the center group IS THREE SHOTS. I tweaked it a bit and it was knocking down targets out to 25 yds. every time. Will put it through its paces later.I definitely have a keeper here.
Today I received a springer that I was not really sure of. Very reasonably priced but had my doubts (pictures don't always tell the story). It is a Webley Eclipse .177 cal and imported by Beeman San Rafael CA. It came with a 3x7 Tasco scope w/mounts. It also has a Beeman barrel break screwed on the end. Blueing is excellent shape and only has a couple very small scratches and indentions on the stock. But all in all a very nice looking rifle.
