I ordered an armada breech for the new marauder. I like the picatinny rail being on the breech. I plan to wrap the tube, shroud and breech in some vinyl gunskin so it wont even be noticeable.

Got a really nice totally mangled and crushed open box with a mailing tube inside that was broken in the middle. It was Priority Mail. It originally contained a 700 mm .25 caliber Slug Liner for a FX Impact but some one at the airport or regional post office must have it because it was not in the box

. The way the box and tube looked it was probably like a WWII Grease gun "shoot around a corner" barrel!

I once got a 1" diameter muzzleloading barrel that was bent into an "S" shape. Pieces of the mailing tube were taped to it. They refused to pay for damages because they said it "had not been properly packaged".

Got my Tasco LFR 600 delivered today. Fortunately, it had not been destroyed in shipping.
I'll have to stop on my way home from work and pick up a 9v battery for it. Thought I had one.... nope.

That really stinks Thurmond. Sorry about the bad luck. I get pretty brutal when it comes to my packages not being here when theyre supposed to be and also any of them that get damaged as well. It's like "you have one job!" type stuff. I got my Tasco range finder too Bill. Fortunately I had a couple new duracells in with the chrony. Then I proceeded to walk around the property and take readings of some of the shots I have taken. Nothing impressive. The range finder is awesome, glad I got it and saved a lot of money too.

I converted my chrono to 6 AAA batteries. They last a lot longer than a 9v.

I got a new mechanic's toolchest so I can have a dedicated drawer for my airgun tools. Kinda overkill for a small bag of tools, but it also means I can store most of my other tools in one location.

Nice! There are 6 AAAA(~500mA-H) batteries inside a 9V package, so 6 AAA(~1000mA-H) will last at least 2x longer.

Even better would be 6AA(~2500mA-H), which should last 5x longer.
FYI... if you calculate the cost of battery energy (mA-H/$) the AA battery is usually the best choice.

I wonder if a 2s lipo with a low voltage warning or cutoff would work? The top voltage would be 8.4v and low would be 6.4~ the MAH could be as little as a few hundred to a few thousand. Could also do 3s and use a voltage regulator to dial it down to 9v from 12.6.
