Glad to hear your Bullpup turned out

Guessing these rail issues have become a (rap shoot, with various options for correcting them

Part of a Chinese DIY FIX, if not a DIY , remove the rail bring it into a arms store they should be able to find a ring fix

I also came across couple single shot blocks that can be modified to work

So any faults or disappointments in your investment

So far it has been good out of the box. I've just adding things on to it like the picatinny tank clamp, bipod and single shot tray. I did turn in the hammer spring screw a 1/2 turn but I have not chrony'd it with that adjustment yet as I have been working on stuff for my Sumatra.

Yeah.. everything I read in my search pointed to the slots being the issue. I didn't see any reference to the overall rail width being different. I could be wrong.. it has happened once or twice in my life..

EXACTLY - this is why I am saying the rails in these guns is NOT STANDARD weaver nor picatinny as far as width (side to side) is concerned. If you have weaver or picatinny rings that do not close smaller then 20mm they will not get tight. If you have weaver or picatinny that do close smaller then 20mm they will get tight, but will likely be just a tad off center. Not sure how I can make my point any clearer......

I was the first one to report the rail issue and when I contacted Pinty, I specifically asked them to recommend a set of rings that would fit the rifle. No recommendation was made by Pinty. I have also sent them the Pics they asked for documenting that the rail was 19.6mm wide, not the 22mm that was stated in the manual that came with the rifle. None of my several pair of Picatinny rings could clamp down on the rifle's rail, but a pair of Weaver brand name rings clamped fine. I suspect that any rings that claim to be 20mm will work fine, call them Picatinny or Weaver.

The slots on the Pinty rail will not allow my Sig Romeo 5 red dot to attach, which does attach fine to Picatinny rails I have had on other guns. I ordered a Picatinny riser to mount that optic, but still had to do some filing of the riser slots to allow the Sig to mount. There does seem to be a military definition of what a Picatinny rail should be, but manufacturers seem to be playing pretty loose with that definition, at least for the civilian market.

The rail has generally become a non issue for me now that I know what to do with it. Both my scope and my red dot have now been used for some longer distance plinking and have been zeroed fine. Pinty Support has not responded to me since I sent them the pictures so like others, I suspect nothing will be done for those that might have already received the Bullpup with a 19mm rail. Such is what happens sometimes with early adopters.

I still believe the Pinty Bullpup is a very nice rifle for the money paid and do not at all regret the purchase.

Chinese Clearances has always been Issues, especially on springers that I have repaired 
correcting some of clearances that worked for me was shim stock,
basically I used on crankshaft bearings for meeting specs, some auto stores still carry it
they come 0.002" - 0.010" strips which is all I ever used
(Just another option) Not saying this fix will work on all these undersized rails, but it did for me
in a pinch guess one could use scotch, or electrical tape

Have the rail issue on mine, going to try and contact customer service and go for the credit option if offered.  I will juts take a bit of material off to get the red dot I got for it to fit.

I did notice something when filling it up with air today, I was in a low light area of my basement and was using my flashlight to check the fill gauge.  Lo and behold, glow in the dark gauge!  Not sure how long it will glow for, but put my flashlight on it for a bit to see how long it will.  Don’t think I saw anyone report this yet- or noted in the features.

Yep... by the way, there was not a SKU number that matched the format they suggested on any of my manual pages, packaging, or rifle.

Took the Pinty Bullpup on out to 50 yards this morning. I prefer reactive targets to paper, so set up three one inch balls on top of three golf tees and three shots later all three balls were laying on the ground with holes in them. No question my rifle is squirrel head and starling accurate out to 50 yards with the H&N Baracuda 21.14 gn pellets...

How fast are those cudas zingin?  And how many shots you getting within say 20 fps?

The Cudas are shooting between 810 and 815 fps for about 31 ft lbs. I haven't actually done an official count of shots, but it seems like I have gone through 5 or six mags before dropping off the reg at about 150 bar. The regulator has been suprisingly good, with the vast majority of shots within 10 fps spread.

Beautiful day today with no wind and sunshine about 63 degrees. Hauled out the Pinty Bullpup for another round of shooting off the golf tees but this time it was paintballs at 35 yards. Just like the last time at 50 yards with one inch balls, three tees set up, three shots, splash three paintballs. I'm loving my Bullpup!!!

My bullpup was supposed to arrive Friday, but tracking says it's only about 30 miles away, and will be delivered tomorrow!

My gun was supposed to be delivered last Friday(2/28), but UPS lost it. Pinty sent out another one 3/5. Delivery says 3/12. Fingers crossed!

A gentleman over on another forum is making custom magazines for the Snowpeak P35 and has suggested that he would make magazines for the Pinty Bullpup if the intrest is there. Let me know if you would be interested in afterrmarket magazines for the Pinty Pup and hopefully he will take on the task!
