From another thread I believe I read the rail is actually a Weaver (20 mm). So Weaver mounts fit on Picatinny, but Picatinny won't tighten on Weaver. A set of Weaver scope rings should solve your problem. If anyone sees a flaw in my response, please chime in!
Because of the different rail width, it seems that any universal mount would not be centered on the bore in one rail, be it picatinney or Weaver.

Wouldn't you think?
