The Maple mag arrived this morning. I had to make a minor adjustment to the scope location so it would fit under it ahead of the turret housing. Not much, just moved the scope back about 1/8" to clear the mag. Fits right in now with maybe 1/16" clearance to the tube.I gotta say, this mags functions miles smoother than the factory or SPA mags. No pre setting the first pellet like I had to with the factory mag. No bass ackwards loading of the first pellet like the SPA mag. Another great thing is that I can just pull the mag and top it off with pellets even if it's not empty. It has a black dot on the orange carousel that will align with orange numbers on the black case showing the last 3 shots. These are big and bold enough to easily read.Yeah, I'll be getting a couple more of these.

Just happen to have a longer kral barrel on hand that worked perfect no modifications. That's the other side of the coin for me... I like that factory compactness of the NOTOS.I just shot another string without the chrono and focused on the report. Yeah, I can tell the difference. I have to remember that I'm shooting within the confines of the Red Shed. I stepped out the door for a couple shots and it is very quiet. That unmoderated "lego" we were shooting yesterday echoed and cracked through the woods. This gun had no such reports. Pellet hitting target was much louder. Now I just have to collapse the stock so the gun fits the case I have for it.... no biggie there.

I remember at one point during 2014 - 2015 we described the the FD-PCP as boringly accurate.I don't know about y'all but my NoDoze is just that. I shot a hole in the center of the target at 20yds. with a 14.3 CPUM and followed it by 2 more shots. I couldn't figure out what happened... where did those shots go?I moved to the next bullseye over and hit dead center. I moved back to the original hole and fired a shot... again, I could not see where the pellet went. That's because they were going in the exact same hole.I own some accurate guns but this one is what I call stupid accurate. Not only that but I was smacking the nasty out of the Hiram resettable flippers at 35 yds. I have 3 sets side by side. I knocked all 12 up and back down with with one 15 shot mag. That's a perfect score. Impressive.

I've been restraining a spoiler alert since you first posted considering the Notos...I had a feeling If I can get decent groups (and Steve is hole in hole with his) you would be hole in hole out to thirty yards out of the box. Glad you found out for yourself and yes I love this AG :-) I think I'm done stealing your thread sir...

Not yet but I will.I'm having a little issue with pellet #1 in the mag. It fits tighter in the mag and I don't want to pressure the cocking lever to force it in. The pellet noses forward and I have to tap the mag back out. That scrapes the nose off the pellet. I eject the pellet and the remaining pellets cycle great.I filed the alignment rail off of the spare SPA mag I had until it fit the NOTOS. It works just fine.. no issues with #1 pellet. It got kinda cold out there so I decided to close up and come in. Feels like some dampness in the air and I don't need to be getting sick.I'll fire the heat up in the morning and see if I can address that mag.I'll also put the oring buffer in the lego gun. By then it should be warmed up enough to open the doors back up.When I do start testing heavier pellets I might need to use the SST.I saw where another member was having issues with his pellet probe being loose and out of alignment. I wonder if he may have had the same issue and forced the cocking lever shut.
I know that CARM mags are the most popular mags but I am really glad I ordered the Maple mags with their 15 round capacity in .22. They chamber so smooth and easy. Way better the factory mag.
I had been eyeing the maple mags…after Bills review ordered 2…almost got the SST….I guess I dont understand Canadian math …my total came to $68.55 ..I computed $59.83 less PP fees and taxes…lol

Paypal paid $37.40. The second one I ordered directly from Maple Custom Products and Paypal paid $35 flat. Had I ordered both from Maple on the same order it would have totaled $62.

I just wanted to say i hope you guys are real proud of yourselves... because of this forum and this post i took the dive today and bought my first PCP gun. I did go ahead with the Notos after a day or two of back and forth between that and the hatsan Jet 2. I am super excited, now i just have to wait for BUds gunshop to ship my goodies!!! I also bought a compressor off of amazon, that bicycle pump looks like it might be a reason to not take so many shots, and who needs stuff like that in their life. I have plenty of pellets to get me started, but can you think of anything else i will need in order to start shooting the day the Notos arrives?the compressor i got on amazon is titled...Portable pcp air compressor 4500psi 300bar 12v DC or 110v AC with power supply, oil&water free, high pressure PCP Compressor Pump for Air Gun and Paintball/Scuba Tank...and it is sold by orcair if you have any advice about that id love to hear it also
