Congrats…..when I first joined I read a lot about getting the scope as close to the barrel/bore as possible….Ive never found it a problem …I dont think I have one gun with the scope that low…..for me its what ever sight picture gun dictates….heck my notos is medium rings on .5 riser….As for the wobbly stock..if u push the button as far up in the housing as it will go stock will slide right off….I laid a short piece of aluminum along the top as a shim… and slid the stock back on…...stopped the wobbly but still allows the stock to adjust…good luckMine likes the H&N FTT 14.66 and CPUMS…my mags are starting to give me trouble….but mine is on the money @ 30 yards…
For me there are three parts to airgunning that make it interesting...Shooting them, tinkering with them and sharing my experiences with them.Like most here, when I was a kid I had a BB gun. Unless I was in school or sleeping I was never far from my BB gun and bicycle. Then life happened. Around 10 years or so ago I found airguns again via a Walmart Daisy 880. Seeking knowledge I found the GTA. And it was from regular folks just like me sharing their experiences that I learned way more than I ever expected. I also made alot of friends among these gates. Most I've never met.Someone once told me that the best way to gather and keep knowledge is to give it away.
