Reviews for the most part are great,
price is Phenomenal,
styling of the guns is very nice,
great variety,
many model are very modular,
Powerhouses.

If I was to start a stable now AEA would most likely get the nod,....actually I think it certainly would

Yeah the price is phenomenal because they use magazines that you don't like.  Simple and cost effective.  Can't have Cadillac features at Vega prices.

Still would like to know what type of magazines are in the Aircuda that you are raving about?

DAR, Urban, JTS are bottom of the price spectrum and still make fantastic magazines

Couple things that make me say no to a gun, if any of those are there it's a no go for me.

Bolt action, no barrel band, Marauder style magazines....that comes from having had several guns with those features and always got to the point of getting rid of them until I learned Hahaha

I have  challenger pro in .30 being delivered tomorrow. Sidelever but I think it still has Marauder style mags and no barrel band but if it passes my testing I will send it to you to try out on some hogs.

Ok, now I am a bit confused.... probably don't take much but....
Some 25 pages ago the AEA line was the cat's ^&*... Don't they use the same type mags?
And suddenly it's a deal breaker?

Well yeah they look great, seem to be very accurate, powerful, the semis seem to be spot on, great prices,...they do have a lot going on.

But same as KRAL I would only buy them if I could get a Carm magazine, so same applies to AEA

I bought 5 Marauders because along the way I forgot how much I hated the mags, as soon I started to use the new one that arrived was like,..."DANG"  LOL .."that's why I sold the other one"

Thank you Troy for the offer but at the moment I don't even have the room to store guns,...we are subletting a house and we have stuff everywhere, been having to be creative just to find a place for the 2 JTS at the moment

Also I'm really struggling with finding time to even shoot the JTSs, I'm working a lot, surfing a lot I'm just swamped


But I hope you have a Thread about it because I would love to follow it, I really like your approach on things and I listen to what you say.

One gun i would buy if it shows up is the mark 2 version of the HP semi auto bullpup. Having trouble getting my photo to post. This is what I was looking for at first - called Bin Tac and he advised me to wait for the next version (and he steered me to the HP Max in the meanwhile).

I used to ogle the Huben K1 every once in a while but could not stomach the price tag.  this seems like the aea analog. Semi auto, bullpup, 80 fpe in .25.  You can order the current model but it had too strong a puff of air-in-the-face and the next one would be out in roughly 2 months. 

Not traditional looking but it looks functional and that’s fine for me.  The question I would need answered is (not what kind of magazine!) how much is this like the Max in terms of simplicity and construction. I will end up with one if it comes out and is on par with their other newer guns, just to try to fill the void in my heart left by the absence of a huben.

Bill I too wonder myself because all four of my AEA's have been completely trouble free and they're all bone stock.

Also don't like those long broomsticks, I would get a Zeus with the 16" barrel.

Maybe put it in a Bullpup stock like the Challenger!

Don't they have a .50 cal Bullpup ?  AEA sure has a lot of diverse offerings.

it would be easy to fill a complete line up of guns with just AEA products, they offer just about everything, cover all bases.

Yes Avator, I'm cofused too....   He was willing to sell his entire lineup of Evanix to buy AEA's and now the magazine is a deal breaker.  I guess it's like the old song, "you have to stand for something, or you'll fall for anything."   I'd probably sell my Evanix to buy another AEA.

Like you I've never had a single issue with the mags.  Knock on wood.

Indeed the magazines are a deal breaker, there's no going around that.

When I had the .30 AEA in for testing I was reminded how awful they are, .........sometimes you need that reminder because with time you forget like I did with the Marauders

Gotta give credit where credit is due and also need to criticize when you have something that you don't like, cannot just live with butterflies, unicorns and fluffy clouds

It's a simple fix.  Take your Evanix magazines and have a machine shop fit them to your rifles.   I didn't like my single shot KAM P12, so I modified it to hold Gauntlet magazines.  Yeah, I know you don't like them.

What style magazines do the Aircuda use?  Still waiting on that answer.

Personally I'll NEVER buy an Evanix, absolutely terrible support from what I've seen about them, with AEA's you can acquire about any part you so desire, all you gotta do is give Bin Tac a call and he'll fix you right up.   I'm still tempted to buy the Max .357, I have all the molds that I'd ever need for that gun, pellets and slugs both
