The best advice, I can now give on China guns and price point guns with all the bells and whistles, is be patient, read, research and don’t jump in without that du dilegence.

Resistance was futile! You're gonna like it! To me, the worst part of it was the trigger, and a little sanding and polishing remedied that! Also, a Dollar Store bottle brush quieted the PING! And, mine loves the 44.75 grain Hades!

Having said that, not only Chinese, as JSAR left a few hickies on my neck also.I have found I have better luck with European products like the CZ goods, the Altaros Booster and my Altaros regulator, my Meopta is also a CZ product.I also have better luck with the medium priced guns, $500-$1100., the Benjamin Craftsman series, my wonderfully consistent trouble free Bulldog, and AF guns like the Texan LSS 257. That puts the AEA right in the middle, great designs, but just too powerful for me at this point in my life.Remember when we bought the Rangers, 4 month wait & $1100.Regards,Roachcreek
Today ?I would take a Zeus .72 rather then a Ranger .45
Oh well,....the Zeus is just the cooler gun Also don't like those long broomsticks, I would get a Zeus with the 16" barrel.
