Well, this should be interesting...  I just ordered one from PA also and it said 1 left when I put it in my cart!  I wonder if we will both get one, or if one will be canceled or placed on backorder!  I sent you a PM, but it said your inbox is full!  I was going to compare Order Numbers and times of the e-mail confirmation!

Lots of pellets just came in too. I nearly always buy from AOA though because of how they treat me. Since AOA is carrying a lot more Crosman now maybe I can order the stock from them. Doubt it but I'll give them a call next month. Last year I asked Kipp why they never had lower end Crosman. The next week they had the Fortitude, but I bought the Cayden from them. Glad they started carrying some more modestly priced guns though.

100% agree. All these lower budget have wood aftermarket stocks that cost the price of the gun. Nice that they are making this available.they should do the same for the Fortitude.

Have you checked to see how different the Marauder is from the Fortitude?  I wonder if it could be made to fit with a little work working?

The fortitude has a much smaller diameter airtube.  Crosman might offer a wood fortitude in the future though. 

The original G2 wood stock was $96 from crosman parts.  The hydro-dipped wood stocks were $150 retail.   I suspect crosman got a good deal from their Turkish supplier that PA was selling them at $100.  Typically the crosman parts they offer are marked up from what you can get them direct.  Dealer pricing is significant lower, too.

Shooters like walnut.  Turks don’t normally use dead-plain Walnut, but the “pretty ” will vary.  They don’t seem to exactly grade them other than pass/fail…..would be a surprise in a box,  but at least it will look like Walnut.

$100 is more than fair in today’s market...please don’t spray bead liner over one.


Fortitude/M-ROD:

If you really want something, can figure out a way to do it...but it would be a job and a half.

None of the screw holes/gauge holes are going to line up

Going form a small sized air tube to a big sized air tube stock is going to stretch your skills. 


I played the Turkish wood lottery once...on a Webley. Hatsan….really think of it as a “random win”, so the cynical me thinks the next one would be a “random loss” to keep Karma balanced.

Not done yet....did look better after removing the white pad spacer.

Paul, Looks like you did get the last one.  My order now says back-ordered.  While I don't believe the in-stock date of 7/12, not in a great hurry in mid-summer.  Let me know what you think of yours.

My status still says picking and packing, so I'm not going to call it done just yet!  LOL!  Still plenty of time to discover the in-stock count was wrong!  I'm hoping not, but you never know!  I'll let you know once I get the e-mail with a shipping notification!
