Off to the dentist office to sharpen the fangs. After that it's anything goes day to some extent, clean the truck out from the flat tire fiasco with the van and reload it with hunting stuff. Fix a section of fence that critters are crawling under. Probably shoot the Hammer later on this afternoon, the Hercules is on hold till the breech o rings come in. Making most of the day.

Nah, it's just getting started for me, it's actually Holidween to me.

Well, I just figured you saying you're getting them sharpened.........

Just making sure that I have not broken anymore and have them filed down to be repaired. It was the 6 month overhaul trip to the dentist, I usually avoid the dentist like the plague but with the bad dental work from my childhood, I am having to go in on a regular basis to make sure everything is still intact. The last extraction was done by an oral surgeon and took 3 hours to remove it because the tooth was so fractured, 7 years later this dentist I go to now had to remove the leftovers a few months ago. Oh, the extraction it was done in the surgeon's office under a local, most people would have gone bananas after the first 30 minutes with the amount of hammering he did on me.

I had the last 8 of my uppers pulled in one visit. The next day I went to get fitted for a temporary upper plate. Two weeks later I went back for the permanent plate and my lower teeth deep cleaned.
Dentist visits are what nightmares are made of.

I hate dentists. Or at least going to one. My mouth is so filled with cavities I'd be spending the next couple of years going to get them pulled or fixed. Thank you very much US Army dentist tech.

Good morning GTA! Happy Tuesday! I got up around 0440. I don’t have a job on me, yet again. But, my wife & I need to meet someone at 0800 to pass on Ayrabella’s old bicycle and some other stuff she’s outgrown. Then we need to stop by City Hall for some paperwork. By that time I should know what I’m doing for work.

Morning and welcome to a rainy Tuesday here in lower Alabama.
Ben Lang says it's going to be a wet one most of the daylight hours today with temps hovering around 70f.
There is a risk of strong to severe winds but we don't have any of that right now. Looks like dry and comfortable weather for the Thanksgiving holiday and through the weekend.
I got up at 5am and the dogs were in no hurry to roll out. When they did they ate and stuck there noses out the door. But that was as far as they went. They chose going back to bed over venturing out in the slow but steady rain.
Can't say I blame them.
After coffee, news and web surfing I plan on a shower then probably just hang out in the Red Shed. Maybe set up a 10 meter indoor target and do some pumper and C02 BB shooting... pistol and rifle.

Good morning, no rain yet but it's coming. Finish loading feeders this morning before the rain starts. Cover up stuff that I don't want to get wet. Do a little house cleaning, work on some art work, cut hair or at least trim it up, and whatever else I can find to do indoors today.

I'm thinking 🤔 but don't know for sure, I think the Storm you guys are dealing with right now is what blew through here. It developed a ef1 tornado about 100 miles south east of my place.

The wife and I are going to lake Havasu to look at and probably buy that couch and loveseat. They put a hold on it until noon today and it's a 2 and a half hour drive to get there so we're up before dawn. Need to get the 7 dogs and 1 cat feed and taken care of. After we either buy or not buy the furniture we're taking our friends who live there out to lunch. They're are our part time neighbors that I'm fixing the CO2 pistols for.

Yep, he said there may be some action within some of the cells with winds in the 60 - 70 mph range but so far I haven't had any significant winds at all. Matter of fact I just came in from the Red Shed and the rain had slowed to a drip and no wind. It looks like it wants to stop. Just overcast lazy sleepy kinda day. And that's exactly how the dogs are treating it.

Good morning, I actually had a second night of fairly good sleep and my back feels as good as I can remember this morning too.     


The weather is clear and 42°F but is supposed to get to 78°F today. Prep for family from Idaho and Montana will continue today, and they should be here late tonight.

Everybody says its gonna rain but my knee and my shoulder disagree.  My park ranger senses says its gonna be overcast and cool with possibly some drizzle.  We'll see.
Late field today at the park.  This shift doesn't get busy until afternoon so I'm in the office taking care of paperwork.

Killed another 2 coons with the AR15 that were both tearing up my yard like little hogs and chewing my patio chairs after killing 4 in the past month that were chewing my AC line insulators! The latest ones dug around 200 holes all in my backyard and right by my home that I had to cover up. Last night I saw yet another one in my back yard caught on trail cam but I looked at the ground this morning and saw no damage thankfully. Good grief with 6 killed the past month how many of these bons of sitches do I gotta kill before they leave my place alone though? Yeesh....

I got up and lazed about till it was time to shower and see the spinal specialist.

Good news is I have a spine.

Bad news as expected it's messed up. The next step is to stab my neck a few times and maybe inject something into it...

Morning..
Been up for 45 minutes or so. Rambo got up, ate and went outside then went back to bed.
Boss had a different plan... she slept on her bed in the living room last night and decided to go in and annoy Betty Lou by barking and growling at her. I heard Betty Lou tell her to shut the $%#@ up and get out of there.
UPS is due to deliver parts to convert the .25 Sentry to .22 today. They usually show up around 11:00 am but that may change due to holiday shipping. Tracking showed them in Montgomery (40 miles away) at the UPS facility at 8:30 last night. So my plan is to go out to the Red Shed and get the airgun operating table prepared for surgery. I may even go deeper in the gun and do some maintinence.
Betty Lou began prepping for the Turkey Day dinner yesterday. She does this every year... we plan on just a small meal and it turns into a full spread with all the salads, trimmings and desert. I expect her to continue that process today. She already has meals planned with the left overs for days to come. Don't get me wrong.. I ain't complaining. I like eating as much, if not more than airguns.

Speaking of TDay food... I can't believe sweet taters (yams) are among America's top 3 least favorite TDay food items along with cranberry sauce and green bean casserole. We won't be having any of the latter 2 but sweet taters? Really, I usually have seconds.
Now I would agree if the top 3 were something like Brussels sprouts, mince meat pie and fruit cake.
