Mornin.
The plan is to spend a quite birthday outside with Italian sausage sandwiches on the open fire grill and some airguns.
Betty Lou and I went out to a nice breakfast. My birthday gift will be just a quite uneventful day spent the three individuals in my life that I love.

Went out this morning and wouldn't ya know it, I've got a flat on my ranger. I can't remember for sure but I think it's the first flat I've had on it and it's a 2007. The Toyo mudders have been on it 4 years and probably 40k miles. The tundra and the FJ have had 3 flats each.

I got up at 3:45 AM
 Sunday school and Church from 8:30 until 10:45 AM
 Lunch at our favorite Chinese place
 Stopped at Harbor Freight (a new and MUCH bigger store)
 We went by our house in town got mail and an old Schwinn women's bicycle I am going to give to a Church member after I clean it up and put new tubes in the tires.
 I changed the leaky valve stems and aired the tires up as a temp fix, they have lots of fix a flat in them, yuk! One of the old valve stem cores came out in 4 pieces    I never saw that before.
 I started the cleaning and it is going to look pretty nice.
 We had a movie night at Church, and now I finally get to get on the GTA today.


  A week ago I stayed up for 25 hours and then slept 3 hours, hopefully I will sleep better tonight. Last night I slept 4 1/2 hours. Funny thing is last week I was fine all day and only slept 3 1/2 hours between Monday night and Tuesday morning. Tuesday-Wednesday I took a Benadryl and Tylenol PM and slept a little over 6 hours which is rare for me, but then I felt all caught up, LOL.

Good morning GTA! Happy Monday! I got up at 0600 and I’m having coffee. It’s raining outside and I don’t have a job on me yet for today. I’ll have to call the office after I get ready for the day.

Wonder wife and I have to start prepping for Thanksgiving.   We'll have to start shopping today and  getting the house ready for my favorite  holiday.   Unfortunately that means my office/gunroom  has to get cleaned up enough so we can unfold the couch.  Someone will be sleeping there surrounded by shooting stuff.

Off to the dentist office to sharpen the fangs. After that it's anything goes day to some extent, clean the truck out from the flat tire fiasco with the van and reload it with hunting stuff. Fix a section of fence that critters are crawling under. Probably shoot the Hammer later on this afternoon, the Hercules is on hold till the breech o rings come in. Making most of the day.

If you're like me, the gun room cleaning project will not get finished. You will find something you've been searching for and you'll be off to do whatever it was you were looking for it for.
On the other hand, you'll find it and put it somewhere until the task at hand is finished and it will magically disappear again.

I got 5 hours and 58 minutes sleep last night, that's almost 2 night's worth of sleep for me, woohoo! I have to go do some yardwork in town, clean the spider webs out of the carport and spray some Home Defense bug/spider spay, and then come home and do some Thanksgiving prep for out of town kids, grandkids, and great grandkids that will be here tomorrow night. This place is not kid proof, there is a lot for me to do, and my wife has to go grocery shopping. (I am glad we got her a car again) I think she has pie baking lessons planned for Wednesday.

Got to take the tire over to the tire shop again to get it fixed. Went there yesterday but they were closed on Sunday. Then I have to go into Ash Fork and get the mail along with fill the tundra up with gas. Get that done come home and wash the tundra and vacuum it out as we're driving down to lake Havasu to buy a new couch and chair. They're some furniture that was in a model home so they're suppose to be around $4k new but we're getting them for around $900. Wife is excited but me.......
As long as it's comfortable I don't care. I guess I can't complain, our couch is from big lots and we've had it 13 years. The recliner which is a lazy boy broke a spring and we've had it almost 10 years.

Awoke at 0630.  Fell back asleep until 0730.  Laid there cozy with Mrs P until 0830.  Bacon is in the oven, coffee and wife by my side.  Frost is on the ground and sun is coming up over the hill.  I’m sure a fire 🔥 is in order, maybe some more raking after it thaws.  I’ll have to perp things for work this week (only 2 days weather permitting).  I also need to get propane tanks filled and the generator running.  The generator starts but doesn’t stay running.  I’ll have to dump fuel and spray out the carb.  Coyote hide is fleshed and drying out.  I need to look up what to do next.

I was outside fire logging up a few trees I dragged out of the woods early this morning when Betty Lou came out the back door with breakfast. Eggs, fried SPAM and toast with grape jelly. We sat down in lawn chairs to eat. I don't know how she did it but after her 3rd or 4th bite she dropped her plate of food. Rambo had half of it before it even hit the ground. I gobbled mine down before she had a chance to ask for some of it.
