Based on this, I think it is definitely shipping from China and not California.

The feedback/seller's rating has dropped from 97% positive to 93% since we all ordered.

Well, maybe it IS being shipped from California?  If it was from China, it would probably be at least 20 to 30 days more for the estimated shipping.At least that is what I think with my limited experience with shipments coming directly from the "slow boat from China".

If the tracking number starts with "LT", plug it into the USPS tracking and see.

I ran into this with my order for the cheap Chinese "velocity meter" I ordered on June 4, 2019.  Amazon didn't give me a tracking number for quite a while and when I finally found it, don't remember how I first found it, it was a USPS number and started with "LT" just like this order.

Still waiting on the "slow boat from China" for that order as well... (heavy sigh)

But... I am not losing any sleep over it either!  Heck, I don't sleep much anyway! (grin)

Go back and do a "Items for sale" search from your seller. It will likely come up as NO ITEMS. Then click the little box on the right and show "SOLD ITEMS". See what he/she has sold in the past couple days. I think you'll see it's readily apparent it's a scam.

None of the cheap compressor sellers show anything for sale.

The second issue is... an ePacket would not ship from Sacemento, Ca. as was reported as the 'ship from' location. Pretty sure an ePacket can't come from China and reach my door within the next 6 days.
The third issue is... Since the item is listed as 'shipped' the order cannot be cancelled. It can only be returned after it's been received.
So, Today I'll be starting the process with eBay and my bank to recover my money based on this info. It may be that I have to wait for the delivery date to come and go. The good thing is, my estimated delivery date is June 25th..... 6 days away.

I made this purchase fully aware of the chances that it may be too good to be true. If it had, in fact, been a legit deal, all the hoobooers would have been.. "dang, I wish I would have got in on that".
I'll get my money back.... just like others have with the last round of YongHeng compressor scams. It's basically like my money is still sitting in my bank.... it's just temporarily on hold..... lol

Thanks avator!  I'll follow your lead, but as I purchased this as a "guest" on eBay, I am having trouble working with them since I "registered".  That order does not even show up and CAN'T be seen when I am logged on.   My gut feeling about eBay is being slowly, but surely realized.

Now, I can see the posts coming from the nay-sayers and "told-ya-so's" already.  (grin)

Tracking number and weight limit issue could be a bad sign, but I'm not certain it is a scam just yet.

I took a chance and ordered a "Too Good To Be True" 250A stick welder a couple years ago that was $50 plus free shipping on ebay. Expected a tiny 110V POS over-rated toy.  A week later I heard a loud deep thud on my front porch. Local carrier must have been angry because the package weighed at least 80lbs! Had to open welder itself to see if they just stuffed it with scrap lead or rocks. It really was a brand new reasonably rated 220VAC 250A transformer stick welder (AC buzz-box) which worked far better than I expected.

Not sure how they were able ship it by normal carrier (felt over weight limit), but I'm still pretty happy about that freak deal.

Will update on on my TGTBT Yong-Heng when I know more. Not too concerned. Been an ebay member for a long time and using PayPal linked to a credit card. Even if all the fail-safes fail (haven't yet), $57 is just a few tins of good pellets or one bargain break-barrel. I'll be really annoyed for few days, then it will pass with lesson learned.

As of last night there were still 70 items for sale, as of this morning zero!

I called ebay and was able to talk to an actual person after first dealing with a computer, and reported this seller as a scam, the person I talked to is turning it over to there scam investigation team who will look into it, still need to wait until after the 25th to start the process of getting a refund, however if the investigators do determine it was a scam "which I'm sure it was" he said they will email me and I will be able to receive my refund sooner.
