This is the E-Bay vendor I bought my $249 YH compressor snddh19892015 (2713) 6 days from placing order to on my front stoop and it weighs considerably more than 4.4lbs

That's a great deal Don... I paid around $220 for my Vevor.
If I actually needed one I'd be all over that. I took a shot on this one with the plan of just testing and storing it for future needs. Now I'm of the mindset just to use what I have until the time comes when I actually need to replace or repair it.
I still have the MKII which some day I'll get off my lazy butt and put a seal in the high side.

I have to admit that I held off on the YH while all the issues were ironed out and uncovered. I think that I got one of the new versions with the heavier piston.The small switching relay is a non issue I can pick up a better one at any of my HVAC suppliers. The other thing is I'm pretty sure that most of the early piston failures were due to improper cooling and inadequate lubrication. I think this will do good service for a couple years or more and if it takes a dump I will probably just replace it with the latest and greatest new version. I figure between travel time ,gas and paying someone to fill my tanks home filling is just way better. Besides this little beast fills so fast I can't go upstairs to grab coffee and come back to shut it off before the tanks hit 4500PSI from 3000PSI

I have been watching this thread myself

I never really was tempted to buy one because of the price as advertised and the fact that I'm pretty much all set with my F10 that I bought last fall (love it), the one that I'm really curious about is that new one Xcisco will be selling soon if all goes well with the testing, by the sounds of it heat won't be an issue with it because it's a gear reduction rig that doesn't even need water cooling.

if its as true as what we have heard, i will own one.
my hatsan spark, and YH both work great filling guns.
it will be cool to have one without the worry of preheated air.
