Still have Covid symptoms including messed up sleep.  But I had a cool dream last night.   I was runnning along a waterfront and saw two doves and a rabbit.   In the dream, I decided that I wanted to go hunting with an AG and would ask the folks at GTA what would be a good AG to use.

FINALLY got sh... stuff moving through me!  I'm not sure what the doctor gave me last Thursday but it did plug me up. I never took any of the pain meds they gave me so it wasn't that. Man is that a load off my mind.😁

Got the barn yard mowed. The eXmark makes short work of it even with it's issue. I've nearly mastered the work around. It never bogged or tried to quit once. I took one break in the shade and shut it off to take few hits off the vape and water bottle. It was a little hard starting but did fire back up. It didn't even hesitate to fire this morning when I drove it out of the mower port.
But yeah, check the barn mowing off the list.

Yep, learned a lesson today.

 I press the limits of what I can do and my pain tolerance limit too, I guess I'd rather drop than lay down.  But, now I try hard to remember to drink more water because I hardly get thirsty. My saliva is the last moisture to go apparently, my mouth is rarely dry? With our low humidity the sweat evaporates immediately so sweat can go unnoticed.

Are you getting enough salt in your diet?

  I am sure I do even though I am supposed to be eating low sodium diet for my blood pressure, we use pink salt.  I also do drink Liquid I.V. if I know I am going to be out in the heat much. I just have to remember to drink water because I don't notice the need until I start having muscle spasms in my hands, arms, or legs.

I like the coarse-ground pink sea salt, too. Also the fancy Maldone’s flaked sea salt—drop a few flakes on bread spread with UNsalted butter. Only a little of these goes a long way in taste.

For added NaCl2, V8 original or low-sodium really hits the spot with me, especially with a piece of fruit and a sandwich for lunch or a post-exercise snack.

When I mountain biked almost every day, my favorite drink to have in the water bottle was a chilled 50:50 mix of old-fashioned berry Juicy Juice (all fruit juice, no added sugar) and a fruit-oriented Celestial Seasonings tea such as Citrus Sunrise, to which I added a little Morton’s “Lite Salt” (potassium chloride, sodium chloride, and one other type of salt).

The dilution plus salts was absorbed better and quenched my thirst better than undiluted fruit juice.

I only drove two boat tours today but then we cancelled four others because of bad weather.  About 1600 I went gator hunting with my slingshot.  I snuck up behind a 7 footer that was napping on the end of B dock.  I got to within about eight feet of him and let him have it with a hickory nut.  It made a nice solid THOCK! when it rapped his skull.  Of course the gator lit out running!

Most fun I had all day.  I watched the radar and the lightning tracker and tried to run boats.  Wasn't much fun.

Finished the mowing before the bad weather came in. The lightning was brutal around here today. It rattled the house pretty good for an hour or so. After the weather cleared I checked on the trees to see if any got busted, all clear. Got some laundry done and little house cleaning not much else today.

I relaxed in and enjoyed my office/man cave with my new view of my nicely arranged books.

I did some online shopping, I just spent $232.53 total.

Some of it was for my wife.    She usually just orders whatever she wants or needs and I find out after the fact. That's not a problem because she is VERY frugal. 
 
I had her pick out what she wanted so I wouldn't mess it up.

The grass winter crop in the maize paddocks has grown to the stage where the farmer needed to graze it down with cattle. They sure chewed it out but they broke 5 posts on the fence that separates the paddocks from the walkway. I spent a couple of days digging out old posts and replacing them. Thought i had better get on to it because there is a woman grazing her cattle on the paddocks . I thought it would be chivilrous to help her out so I did even though i don-t know who she is .
Digging post holes and ramming in new posts reminded me of my advancing years . Just take your time and get the job done . Not fast like years ago but keep at it and I can do it . For that I am very thankful .

So far I just paid the online bills and placed an Amazon order of non airgun related items. Most of the rest of the day will be spent grocery shopping and carrying them in the house. We usually eat a meal out on grocery day but haven't decided where or when yet.

Memsahib hates to shop.  I used to give her sister $600 every fall and they would spend the day together my wife would get two or three "work style" outfits in two or three colors done.  Since her sister passed I have to make subtle replacement suggestions when doing laundry.  One of our last date nites was to the Jockey Outlet where I use the coupons they send me and replenish the family on those items

Completed the second day of virtual training ( 3 down two to go) for a work certification.  Hovered in the clouds on overwatch while my staff of Padawan Engineers handled citizen and developer emails.  Poured in theraflu and filtered it like a shellfish.  Earliest appointment at our employee clinic is Friday morning

Hit the road early for doc appt. and then to the blood donation place for platelet donation. Pick up zoo food and meds. Wore out from driving all over the place. Still need a small grocery run will do that later on.
